Update on Ric Flair at Smackdown taping, Hardys reunite + WWE DVDs
On Monday, July 14, 2008 at 5:51 PM EST Ric Flair appearing at tomorrow night's Smackdown taping in Charlotte, NC is far from a lock at this point. Flair has been advertised locally for the show and it is possible he could simply appear in front of the live crowd instead of on TV.
WWE.com is reporting that The Hardys will reunite on tomorrow night's ECW on Sci Fi teaming up to take on WWE Tag Team Champions John Morrison & The Miz.
According to a new report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE shipped 646,000 DVDs in May which was a huge month for the company. A large chunk of that number was due to the WrestleMania 24 DVD, which shipped 280,000 units in its first 11 days out. Other big DVD sellers so far this year includes the Steve Austin DVD that has shipped 196,000 units, while the Triple H DVD has shipped 225,000 units.
