The following took place on Tuesday in Charlotte, NC.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown Tapings for July 18:

- There was no wedding on the show, but they had a reception for Edge and Vickie Guerrero throughout it.

- Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder defeated Finlay & Hornswoggle with Edge as the special guest referee.

- Edge and Vickie go to have the "first dance" when Big Show comes out to interrupt. Vickie ordered a handicap match with Big Show vs. Great Khali, Vladimir Kozlov, Shelton Benjamin and MVP.

- Big Show vs. Great Khali, Vladimir Kozlov, Shelton Benjamin and MVP ended in a No Contest.

- Vickie threw her bouquet to the Divas and Cherry caught it.

- Brian Kendrick defeated Jimmy Wang Yang. Kendrick had a bodyguard with him.

- Umaga defeated Mr. Kennedy.

- WWE Tag Team Champions John Morrison & The Miz defeated Jesse & Festus.

- WWE U.S. Champion Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy ended in a No Contest. Vickie ordered the two to wrestle after they put Chavo's face in the wedding cake. La Familia beat The Hardys down afterwards.

- The show concluded with a happy Edge and Vickie when WWE Champion Triple H came out. He reveals that Edge has been hitting on Victoria Crawford (the wedding planner) and Vickie freaks out.

Note: Ric Flair wasn't used on the TV taping, but was at the show.
