According to a report by The Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Online, plans for SummerSlam on August 17 appear to be changing on a daily basis.

Last week the plan was to remove Shawn Michaels from house shows so he could sell his "detached retna" injury and to hold off on his match with Chris Jericho until after SummerSlam. Jericho was then scheduled to do Highlight Reel segments on the Raw house show cards, but WWE ending that segment for good on Raw last night. Not long afterwards did they announce Shawn Michaels would be back live on Raw next week (most likely in an interview segment). So it is possible the match between Jericho and Michaels is back on for SummerSlam.

The other situation that could see lots of changes involves the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam. Most think it is a mistake to give away John Cena vs. Batista with only two weeks left to build it on Raw. The feeling is that SummerSlam could feature a four or five way with CM Punk defending, although nothing has been confirmed at this point.
