Recent attendance figures for WWE & TNA from August 14 to 17 - more
On Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at 6:01 PM EST Here are some recent attendance figures for WWE and TNA this past weekend courtesy of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter:
WWE Attendance:
August 15 in Rockford, IL (Supershow) drew 7,000 fans.
August 16 in Valparaiso, IN (Supershow) drew 3,000 fans.
August 17 in Indianapolis, IN (SummerSlam) drew 15,997 fans. Paid fans was in the 13,000 range with a gate of around $800,000.
TNA Attendance:
August 14 in Estero, FL drew only 800 fans.
Attendance figures for August 15 in Dallas, TX, August 16 in Lawton, OK and August 17 in Muskogee, OK were not available. Audience in Lawton was said to be bigger than Dallas. The event in Dallas at the House of Blues was described as a show playing for the Panda Energy Board of Directors who like to come out and see fans showing up for the product.
