WWE at political conventions, ''No Mercy'' poster, + Smackdown taping |

WWE.com has a section up at this link noting that WWE Superstars and Divas will be attending the Democratic and Republican National Conventions over the next two weeks as part of the Smackdown Your Vote campaign.
Ryan Howard sent this in regarding the Smackdown tapings on Tuesday in Moline, IL: It turns out that it wasn't Kevin Thorn in the battle royal. It was Ryan Braddock. Not once during the episode on TV did they say his name, so it might have been a filler.
Also, as I watched Shelton Benjamin's promo on TV, they clearly edited over his voice when he said Michael Phelps. Benjamin actually called him MARK Phelps, so he definitely botched that promo.
The Vickie Guerrero promo at the beginning of the show, was not what was shown to the crowd at the tapings. She had come out in her wheelchair and explained the Championship Scramble. However, she described it so badly, that she made it seem like the Scramble was happening that very night instead of Unforgiven. The video shown at the beginning of SD was shown before the main event, and there was no audio to it, which left the crowd with a "WTF?" expression.
Thought I'd let you know.
Dominick Daniels passed on a graphic of the poster for next month's WWE No Mercy PPV featuring Jeff Hardy on the cover at this link.
