Friday Night Smackdown & ECW Taping Results from Pittsburgh |

I just arrived home from the ECW & Smackdown tapings tonight in Pittsburgh.
Mellon Arena was fairly full, of what wasn't covered, though about half of the seats were covered, most of them being the nose bleeds.
-Jake Baker (not sure on last name) def. Jamie Noble after a very messy looking overhead suplex looked to knock Jamie out, followed by a sit-down spinout power bomb. Crowd was into the match in the later parts. I think the apparent injury really quieted the crowd down, since this was one of the matches the crowd was most into all night.
-Funaki def. some guy I didn't get the name of. He had what I felt was a very Gorgeous George-esque feel.
ECW Tapings
-Start out with the Dirt Sheet Miz and Morrison announce the guest will be the contestants in the ECW Championship Scramble. They then introduce Mark Henry, followed by Chavo and Bam, Chavo's music doesn't work so Miz and Morrison improvise it. They say Finaly couldn't join them, so we get a video of Miz and Morrison making fun of Finaly and Hornswaggle. Hardy then comes out and makes a gay joke about Ortiz and Henry and Chavo and Bam. Morrison jumps Hardy, heels jump the faces, then Dreamer and Bourne hit the ring to make the save.
-Teddy announces a 8-man tag match. Heels vs. Faces.
-Super Crazy def. Gavin Spears. Botched the finish.
-Ricky Ortiz beats (can't remember the name).
-Faces def. Heels after Bourne, Dreamer, and Finlay hit finishers/jumping splash, followed by Twist of Fate on Henry.
Smackdown
-Taker comes out says he will come for Vickie's soul, and she will BURN. IN. HELL.
-R-Truth def. Kenny, with a twisting Ax Kick.
-Vickie is freaking out, can't hear if the phone rang or not, too much booing. She rips the phone out of the wall and throws it.
-Maryse & Natalya def. Maria & Michelle McCool.
-Jeff Hardy def. MVP, crowd really into the match. Some MVP chants which the Hardy contingent counter with Sucks.
-Jeese & Festus vs. Edgeheads: No Contest, Big Show comes out and complains about not being in the Scramble.
-Brie Bella def. Victoria.
-The Brain Kendrick talks about "The Art of War".
-Triple H def. Shelton Benjamin. Khali distracts Trips, but counters Shelton's finisher.
-After the match Benjamin jumps Trips with the belt, then Khali hits his choke bomb.
Dark Match
-Trips retains title in a street fight via Sledgehammer.
