WWE can't brag about beating NFL anymore - more on 8/25 Raw rating

It looks like the run of WWE promoting that Raw has beaten Monday Night Football in the ratings the last few weeks is now over, even though they were preseason games. PWInsider is reporting this week's Monday Night Football between the Seahawks and Chargers drew a 3.2 cable rating, beating out Raw (although Raw did air on Sci Fi losing some regular viewers).

On a related note, some more details are available regarding the 8/25 Raw rating. The Wrestling Observer is reporting the show did a 2.84 rating with 4.09 million viewers, meaning 20% of the regular Raw audience couldn't figure out the one night switch to Sci Fi or did not have the channel. The replay later that night on USA airing late from 12:40 a.m. to 2:40 a.m. ET drew a 0.42 rating. In comparison to last year's Raw getting bumped by tennis and moving to Sci Fi, that show did a much stronger 3.21 rating on Sci Fi.
