Ring of Honor had its biggest crowd in history at the 12/27 event in New York City, selling out the Hammerstein Ballroom for a crowd of 2,500 fans at the "Final Battle 2008" event reports The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The sold out crowd begged the question of who gets the credit for the house. It should be noted that the show was roughly half sold out when Gabe Sapolsky was fired, making the advance ahead of any show in company history.
