More on Freddie Prinze Jr. leaving

As reported on last week, Freddie Prinze Jr. has official left WWE's creative team. Prinze was said to be in the loop on everything in regards to last week's WWE TV shows. Stephanie McMahon had reportedly approached Prinze Jr. about adding to his duties a couple of months ago and heading up new projects, offering him a promotion and more money. He politely declined and said he was actually a few days away from giving his notice. Stephanie was said to be very caught off guard and tried to talk him into staying part-time for a short period of time. He was said to be included in all script drafts that went through email although he had not traveled with the writing team in many weeks. If he gave any feedback to the scripts no one seemed to be aware of it. Prinze Jr. did help WWE land a major Hollywood party last week during Oscars week and the feeling was both sides hope to maintain some kind of relationship.
