TNA Wrestling In Talks with AAA

This week Adam Martin reported that TNA was currently in talks with AAA on sending current TNA World Tag Team Champion, Hernandez, down to AAA in Mexico for an extended stay sometime this year. The goal of this would be for Hernandez to get over big in Mexico and return to TNA an even bigger star as well as bringing those Hispanic fans he gains back to TNA with him (much like Rey Mysterio Jr. in WWE). One thing to note is that WWE's Smackdown! is actually the highest rated wrestling program in Mexico (beating out both AAA and CMLL) primarily due to Rey Mysterio Jr.'s popularity. Also, I'm not sure where this puts TNA's relationship with CMLL either. This wonít be Hernandezís first time down in Mexico (if he goes) as he competed as the masked Mr. Texas early on his career primarily on the INDY scene. He even held the FILL Heavyweight Championship for a short time in 2005.

- The tension in the Air Force finally seems to be over as Super Fly dropkicked Laredo Kid while Black Abyss had him up for the Martinete allowing Laredo to fall on top of Abyss and get the pin.
- During the AAA Title Match La Legion ran out to attack Mesias but Air Force came out to make the save until Morishima destroyed them. However, that allowed Mesias time to sneak up and hit the F5 on Morishima for the pin.
