This week is a very special Best of ECW show here on Sci-Fi. You may have noticed that RAW and Smackdown are not holding such “Best of” series this year. Simply put, ECW is the best show and as such is the only one worthy of the honor. That’s my reasoning at least, and that’s what we are going to go with here on Wrestleview!
The show kicks off with Matt Striker & Todd Grisham in their hosting positions backstage. The heckling Matt Striker lays on Todd Grisham continues throughout the evening and is quite hilarious.
The first segment is essentially the story of CM Punk. They kick off covering Punk’s reign as ECW Champion and his loss to Chavo. They continue on to cover his “Money in the Bank” win and eventual World Heavyweight Championship win.
