Full WWE Sunday Night Heat Results - 6/6/04

- The pyro goes off and we are ready for Sunday Night Heat!

Maven vs. Steven Richards
The match starts with both locking up and Maven shoving away Richards quickly. The referee makes Maven wipe off his chest since Richards complained. Maven hits a hip toss, shoulder takedown and standing dropkick. Richards goes to the outside and gives Maven a big irish whip into the guard railing. Richards hits a powerslam followed by stomping on the gut of Maven. Richards hits a few knees to the gut and applies the abdominal stretch. Maven breaks out of the hold with a big hip toss, atomic drop and a series of right hands. Richards gets a back body drop from Maven followed by two big clotheslines. Maven launches Richards into the the corner, rolls him up, but only gets a two count. Maven goes to the top, jumps, but Richards slaps him in the gut. Richards sets up Maven for the DDT when Maven counters and hits The Stroke to get the 1, 2, 3.

Winner: Maven

- LATER TONIGHT: Batista vs. Val Venis.

- WWE SLAM OF THE WEEK: La Resistance defeating Chris Benoit & Edge last week on RAW to become the new World Tag Team Champions.

The Hurricane & Rosey vs. Eric Mastrocola & Jean Clement
The Coach & Al Snow are calling these guys weird names and I really don't know who is which, so I'll say #1 and #2 to keep everyone entertained. Rosey takes out #1 very quickly, leading to #2 getting tagged in. Rosey takes him down with a clothesline and tags in The Hurricane who hits a big dropkick. #2 hits some hard chops on The Hurricane, but Hurricane fights back by throwing both #2 to the outside who connects with #1. Hurricane goes up to the top, but #2 hits a huge back breaker. #2 gets the tag and applies a back submission. Hurricane counters a sidewalk slam into an Eye of the Hurricane. Rosey and #1 get the tag. Rosey takes him out with a big back chop followed by a clothesline. #2 jumps on his back, but he hits a big side walk slam. Hurricane hits a big leg drop on #2. Rosey hits a big samoan drop that gets finished off with a neckbreaker by The Hurricane on #2 to get the 1, 2, 3.

Winners: The Hurricane & Rosey

- Highlights of the WWE SummerSlam press conference from last week in Toronto was shown. Jim Ross, Kurt Angle, Triple H, John Cena, Eddie Guerrero and Vince McMahon all comment.

- LATER TONIGHT: Batista vs. Val Venis.

- UP NEXT: The ongoing feud between Randy Orton and Shelton Benjamin.

- A promo for the World Heavyweight Title Match between Chris Benoit and Kane at Bad Blood was shown.

- FLASHBACK TO RAW: Highlights from the Randy Orton vs. Shelton Benjamin match from RAW last week was shown. If Benjamin picked up the win against Orton, he would receive an Intercontinental Title shot at Bad Blood. Benjamin gets the win after Orton gives him a cheap shot on the outside, Orton comes back in and Benjamin hits his quick modified belly to belly suplex. Al Snow & The Coach plug the WWE Intercontinental Title Match between Randy Orton and Shelton Benjamin at Bad Blood.

--COMMERCIAL BREAK--

Rhyno vs. Rory McGregor
The match starts with Rhyno hitting a big takedown, but Rory reaches for the ropes with his feet. Al Snow describes Rory as a long lost Headbanger. Rory hits a few hard punches on Rhyno and gets some big boo's from the crowd in Montreal. Rory launches Rhyno in the corner and then applies a headlock. Rhyno fights back with a big back suplex. Rhyno hits a series of right hands, big clothesline and a big forearm to the head. Rhyno hits a big belly to belly suplex and backs up into the corner. Rory gets up and Rhyno connects with The Gore. Rhyno hooks the leg and gets the 1, 2, 3.

Winner: Rhyno

- LATER TONIGHT: Batista vs. Val Venis.

- UP NEXT: Eugene goes one-on-one with Kane.

- A promo for the Hell in a Cell Match between Triple H and Shawn Michaels at Bad Blood was shown.

--COMMERCIAL BREAK--

- WWE COLOR OF THE NIGHT: The Coach and Kane beating up Eugene in the ring last week on RAW.

- FLASHBACK TO RAW: Eric Bischoff puts his nephew Eugene in a match against Kane on RAW. We join the match in progress and Kane continues his offense on Eugene, but Eugene fights back each time. Eugene dropkicks Kane to the outside. A frustrated Kane grabs a steel chair and throws it into the ring. The referee tries to take it from Kane, but Kane throws the referee out. Eugene gives Kane a DDT on the steel chair and the referee comes in, calling for the bell. Kane is DQ'ed and Eugene is your winner. After the match, Kane hits a big boot and chokeslam on Eugene. Kane looks to hit the Tombstone Piledriver when Chris Benoit comes down. Benoit tries to apply the Crossface, but Kane hits a big elbow and leaves the ring quickly. Kane and Benoit stare each other down.

- Al Snow & The Coach plug the World Heavyweight Title Match between Chris Benoit & Kane and Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels in a Hell in a Cell at Bad Blood. They run the video from RAW last week showing past Hell in a Cell's Triple H has been involved in against Mick Foley, Chris Jericho and Kevin Nash.

- Footage of the RAW brand's WWE TOUR OF DEFIANCE was shown from last weekend in Dublin, Ireland, Manchester, England and Birmingham, England.

Batista vs. Val Venis
The match starts with both locking up and Batista taking down Val with a big shoulder takedown. Val hits some stiff kicks to Batista's legs, knocks down Batista and does an elbow drop to the knee. Val hits a drop toe hold and knocks Batista to the outside soon after. Val gets up on the ring apron when Batista knocks him down. Batista pulls Val outside and slams him into the side of the ring. Batista rolls Val back inside, Val fights back with a punch, Batista bounces off the ropes and hits a big clothesline. Batista hits a big hanging suplex followed by some knees to the back. Val fights back with some rights and lefts, but Batista hits a big spinebuster in response. Batista applies the Camel Clutch, but Val fights his way out of it. Val gets a roll up after Batista hit the corner, but only gets a two count. Batista attempts the powerbomb, but Val hits a big back body suplex. Val goes up to the top, but Batista cuts him off. Batista gives Val a big superplex off the top and hits the sitdown powerbomb soon after. Batista hooks the leg, 1, 2, 3.

Winner: Batista
