NEW DIRECTOR OF AUTHORITY....VINCE RUSSO!

Highlights from the past two weeks firings of TNA talent starts off this weeks jam packed show. Who's gonna be Director of Authority? Well, by the end the show, the world, including Camp Jarrett, will know.

Team NWA ( Jerry Lynn, Chris Sabin, Elix Skipper, & Sonjay Dutt) vs. Jason Cross, Jimmy Rave, Skarkboy, and Roderick Strong
This X-Divison style 8-man tag team match showed just how good the X-Divison is in TNA. As the match progressed with all the highflying action that could ignite an important show such as this, and all other competitors outside the ring, Jerry Lynn pins Jason Cross after he hits his Cradle piledriver.

Once Jerry gets up, he gets knocked back down again as NWA Heavyweight Champion Jeff Jarrett and Troops rush in for the beat down of Lynn. Jarrett nails Lynn with a patented Jarrett guitar shot. The Champ then gets on the mic to fire Jerry Lynn and name Elix Skipper the new captain of Team NWA. He announces that Don Callis and Thomas T. Stenenbaum are in the office taking care of the Director of Authority issue. Jarrett goes on to call out Chris Harris for a non-title bout tonight.

Go to backstage where we have Terry Taylor talking to the Franchise as they prepare for Michael Shane to face The Truth. Shane Douglas says he's not going to the ring with Shane and Tracy and people need to take notice.

Michael Shane vs. Ron "The Truth" Killings
B.G. James does color commentary during the match. Douglas being conspicuous by his absence shows up by attacking Konnan at the Spanish Announce Table upstairs. BG leaves his position to check on Konnan. Tracy goes up top and jumps on The Truth who turns it into a powerbomb. Shane hits a superkick on Truth for the win. Douglas stands on the stage with chain in hand to congratulate.

Terry Taylor is backstage with Kid Kash, the Redshirts, Gilberti and Young. Kash tell the Redshirts they better do what they're supposed to or /*. Gilberti says the Diamond and Swinger loyalty oath mystery will be taken care of tonight. Young says he's not fighting ICP tonight because he's afraid, with Kash stepping in for him.

The Redshirts(Legend & Kevin Northcutt) vs. Dustin Rhodes & El Leon
El Leon gets the pin on Legend after he hits Northcutt who was holding El Leon on the apron. The Naturals run in and beat on Rhodes who is saved by El Leon, who brings in a chair as the Naturals bail.

Terry Taylor talks with Father James Mitchell and the Gathering as Mitchell talks of Raven being a coward and for Funk not to count on Raven showing up.

Kash is backstage yelling at the Redshirts for not getting the job done. Jarrett comes in and nails Legend with a guitar. Jarrett tells Northcutt to join Legend or throw him out. Northcutt, Kash and troops dump Legend out the door.

Playin' Fair with Jonny
With an empty chair surrounded by palm trees, Lollipop gives ring announcer Tim Welch an entrance to read that only Jonny could've written. Jonny says that Joanie Laurer is not here because she demanded too much. She's not as big a star as the former Survivor cast member. He says that he is going to have lawsuits against Simon Diamond, Brian Urlacher, Joanie Laurer, and A. J. Styles. A. J.'s music hits as he comes to the ring with mic in hand. A. J. dumps Fairplay outside and starts to beat Jonny when Abyss comes to take care of A. J.

AJ Styles vs. Abyss
The two start fighting on the ramp and then down to ringside. When the battle goes to the ring, A. J. has a strong offensive attack in the ring. Abyss goes to the outside and sets up a table. The table then enters the ring as A. J. brings in it. A. J. trys to powerbomb Abyss on a table, but Jeff Jarrett comes and moves the table and puts the Stroke on A. J.

A. J. then gets put on the table as Abyss comes down on him, but once wasn't enough for the monster Abyss, as he climbs the ropes again to put A. J. through the table.

Terry Taylor talks to Diamond and Swinger about who signed the loyalty oath - both deny it.

Juggalo Street Fight
ICP vs. Glenn Gilberti & Kid Kash

Kid Kash brings a sign saying "Don't Feed the Clowns" and a loaf of bread to the ring, only to throw the bread at the ICP fans. ICP comes to the ring through the crowd as the match started on the floor. As the fight went on, Violent J comes off the top rope with his moonsault followed by Shaggy 2 Dope missing his legdrop. David Young comes out with a chair for Kash. Kash grabs the ref to stop being pinned by a Shaggy 2 Dope sunset flip, but is pushed by the ref for an ICP win. David Young hits a spinbuster on the referee as Diamond and Swinger come out. Simon grabs the clipboard to read Swingers name on it. Swinger then turns on Diamond as the Blackshirt security comes in for the save.

Terry Taylor with Goldylocks backstage and says Watts held her back. Mike Tenay is seen talking on a cell phone.

The Gathering vs. Terry Funk & Raven
A determined Raven comes in and double teams his former proteges while Funk is knocked out on the outside. A bloody Funk gets to the ring while Raven is outside being double-teamed by Deniro and Punk. Raven gets the win when Father Mitchell comes out to the ring with a stun gun. Funk throws himself in front of Raven to take the stun. Raven clears the ring.

Terry Taylor backstage with Scott D'Amore where D'Amore issues a challenge against Mexico for March 10th America's X Cup with Teddy Hart being captain.

Chris Harris vs. Jeff Jarrett
Harris has a good showing against the NWA Heavyweight Champion in this non-title match as the champion gets the win. After the match Mike Tenay is on the ramp with mic to rain on Jarrett's parade. He announces the new Director of Authority- VINCE RUSSO!
