Sabu & Sonjay Dutt vs. Team Canada
This week’s pay per view got off to a blistering start as the “Original Playa from the Himalaya” Sonjay Dutt teamed up with the homicidal, suicidal, genocidal, Sabu to take on Bobby Roode and Petey Williams of Team Canada. As always, the duo was led to the ring by their leader, Scott D’Amore. Team Canada has been on roll as of late in TNA and wanted to extend their winning streak by shutting down Sabu and Dutt.

Although, Sabu and Sonjay Dutt don’t have the experience working together that Team Canada does, they did a pretty good job working as a team. D’Amore got his cheap shots in when he could and it looked like he was going to be the X factor again for Team Canada, but Sabu had other plans. Just as Bobby Roode was about to use the infamous hockey stick that D’Amore gave him, Sabu countered it with a steel chair, breaking the stick in half. Once this happened, Sabu dropped his leg with the steel chair on Bobby Roode’s face which led to the eventual pin fall.

After the match, Scott D’Amore was furious with both Petey Williams and Bobby Roode. The rest of Team Canada, Johnny Devine and Showtime Eric Young, came to the ring to calm down the frustrated D’Amore, thus preventing anything more from taking place.

Back in the locker room area, “The Franchise” Shane Douglas was standing by with the X Division Champion, AJ Styles. The news broke that Kid Kash was suspended for unknown reasons and would not be able to compete against Styles tonight for the belt. AJ told Douglas that it didn’t matter, and that he never backed down from a fight. He said he will throw up the net again and see what he can catch as far as an opponent goes.

Cameras then shifted back to the ring where Scott Hudson was standing by with Director of Authority, Vince Russo and referee Rudy Charles. Scott Hudson asked Russo who the NWA World Champion is. Vince Russo said that he decided to let the 2 participants in the match state their own case and invited both “The Truth” Ron Killings and Jeff Jarrett to the ring. The 3 Live Kru came out first and got the crowd all riled up, but just before Killings could speak his mind, out came “The King of the Mountain” Jeff Jarrett, followed by his Elite Guard consisting of Onyx, Collier, and Hernandez.

Jarrett had the truck roll the footage showing Russo and Rudy Charles stating that if anyone uses the guitar in the match, they would be disqualified and lose. Truth then had the truck show some footage for him in which we saw Jeff Jarrett continuously use the guitar as a weapon against people like Dusty Rhodes, Vince Russo, and Killings himself. The Truth then told Russo that the attack was premeditated and that Russo should do the right thing!

Russo seemed very confused, but announced that although it made him sick to his stomach, he must award the belt back to Jeff Jarrett. Russo then told Killings that he didn’t do the right thing last week when he hit Jarrett with the guitar. Just as Jarrett was mouthing off, Russo told him to shut up and informed the champ that he would be defending the title next week against all 3 members of 3 Live Kru, but that’s not all. Russo said he had to be fair and he included Jarrett’s Elite Guard in this gauntlet match up. However, this would make it 4 on 3, so Russo said he will have to even things up with a man that Jeff Jarrett is scared of. He then revealed the 8th competitor in next week’s gauntlet match for the NWA World Heavyweight Title. The World’s Most Dangerous Man, Ken Shamrock!!!! The first NWA Champion of the TNA era was back and he charged the ring as a fight ensued amongst all of the wrestlers except for Jeff Jarrett, who jumped over the railing to the outside.

“The Alpha Male” Monty Brown vs. D Lo Brown
Both of these athletes have publicly stated that they are both in search of the biggest prize in our sport, the NWA World Heavyweight Title. Problem is, there is only room for one top contender. This led to The Alpha Male put in a match up with D Lo Brown to find out just who would go on to become the number one contender for the title. Fans were wondering if D Lo Brown could put an end to Monty Brown’s winning streak here in TNA.

This match went back and forth with neither man able to capitalize. The longer the match went on, the more brutal the encounter got. What started as a wrestling match, ended in a fight with the referee calling a No Contest as both D Lo and Monty Brown fought each other into the crowd watching on at the Asylum. Security tried to separate the two, but had their hands full. We have certainly not seen the last of this rivalry in the making.

Hudson was standing by with Gilberti and Swinger. Although Swinger looked comfortable in his coconut bikini, Gilberti was hesitant to appear before the camera. Unannounced, David Young came in and went over to talk with Gilberti. Swinger told Hudson that if it’s coconuts that Kenney and Siaki want, it’s coconuts their going to get.

Pat Kenney & Sonny Siaki vs. The NYC (Double or nothing humiliation match)
Unfortunately for Gilberti and Swinger, they were forced to come to the ring dressed in those ridiculous outfits. Intent on not having to wear them anymore, the NYC was ready to put a beating on Kenney and Siaki to ensure victory. However, it was all Kenney and Siaki in the early going. Gilberti used his shoe as a weapon to turn the tide of the match back to the NYC’s favor.

Midway through the match, David Young came down to the ring with a chain around his fist and hit Pat Kenney over the head to allow Gilberti to get the rollup and the 3 count. Just as the NYC was celebrating not having to wear their outfits, another referee hit the ring to inform referee Andy Thomas that he missed Young interfering in the match up. Thomas then ordered the match to continue. Eventually, Irish Pat Kenney go the rollup on Gilberti for the pin and thus forcing the NYC to wear the outfits for 30 more days. Vito and Trinity then came out to ringside to have words with their fellow New Yorker’s.

Cameras again shifted backstage where Scott Hudson was standing by with Goldylocks and Abyss. She told Hudson that Watts still loves her and that once Abyss wins, she is going to get his contract and rip it up.

Erik Watts vs. Abyss w/ Goldylocks
With his wife sitting at ringside, it was now time for Erik Watts to try and win back the money that Goldylocks had taken from him. If he won the match, Goldylocks would have to give his savings back, but if Abyss won, Watt’s contract goes into her hands. For Abyss, it was a chance to punish another TNA victim, and for Watts, it was all about taking back what is rightfully his. Goldylocks got involved early and often. She slipped the briefcase in about midway through the match which Abyss used to hit Watt’s right over the head. However, Watt’s kicked out, knowing that his match could be his last.

Erik Watts then turned the tide of the match when he hit a choke slam on Abyss. It wasn’t enough to keep the big man down though. Although Erik Watts fought valiantly, he wasn’t able to beat the numbers game. With Goldylock’s constant interference, she was able to distract Watt’s too much and that led to Abyss giving him the Black hole Slam for the victory, thus giving Goldylocks the power over Erik’s contract. After the match was over, Abyss and Goldy continued to attack a helpless Watt’s until his wife jumped the guard rail and came in the ring, desperately fighting off her husband’s enemies.

Hudson was standing by with the NWA World Tag Team Champs. Wildcat Chris Harris and Cowboy James Storm expressed their feelings on the recent actions of the Naturals. Harris exclaimed that they were going to give the Naturals something tonight and they are not going to like it.

America’s Most Wanted vs. The Naturals
For week’s now, the Naturals have been trying to get the attention of TNA officials by attacking Chris Harris and James Storm every chance they get. They went as far as to steal their ring attire and draw on their faces with lipstick. It looked as if Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens wanted a shot at the Tag Team Champions. Well, be careful what you wish for, because in this case, they got it! AMW was out to settle the score with the 2 newcomers to the TNA tag team division.

AMW wasted no time and went right after Stevens and Douglas before the bell even sounded. Harris and Storm were fired up and out for revenge. They manhandled the two rookies in the beginning of their encounter. However, the Naturals proved that they were a worthy contender and soon mounted a comeback. It seemed as if AMW had the match put away on several occasions, but Douglas and Stevens would kick out. What happen next came as a shock to everyone in the building and all those who watched at home, the Naturals were able to get the pin in what could be considered a controversial decision. Nonetheless, Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens sent another message to TNA. That is, they are the real deal!

Back in the locker room area, Scott Hudson was standing by with “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes who wasn’t too happy about the decision Russo made earlier in the night, but he had other issues to worry about, such as Jeff Hardy. Rhodes said he personally will take the Jeff Hardy situation in to his pocket, claiming that Jeff Hardy has that rock star status in the world of professional wrestling.

Later on, Scott Hudson caught up with Vince Russo who would not comment on Kid Kash’s suspension, but he did let everyone know that AJ Styles would defend his belt against 5 worthy X Division wrestlers.

AJ Styles vs. Michael Shane vs. Kazarian vs. Primetime vs. Amazing Red vs. Chris Sabin (X Division Title)
We all know that AJ Styles is a fighting champion, but the odds were stacked against the phenomenal one going into this match up with 4 former X Division Champions. With the exception of a very talented Primetime, all of Styles opponents have tasted the X gold before and wanted it back. This match was absolutely out of this world! In true X Division style, all 6 competitors put it all on the line and showed why the X Division has no limits! There was death defying, high flying, suicidal, technical, and total nonstop action in this match which words can’t describe. At the conclusion of the match, Styles again overcame the obstacles and got the Styles Clash on Red for the win to retain his title.

After the match was over, all hell broke loose. Team Canada charged the ring and a fight ensued. Just then AMW came through the curtains exchanging blows with the Naturals. Christopher Daniels joined the fray and he too got involved using the NWA flag pole to fight off people. D Lo Brown and Monty Brown were shown fighting their way back through the crowd and so were the 3 Live Kru and The Elite Guard. Bodies were everywhere in the Asylum. In the end, Jeff Jarrett came to the ring with his guitar and stood in the center of the ring untouched, until Ken Shamrock came out to confront him. Just as Shamrock hit the ring, the show went off the air!
