Opening Segment

The Nature Boy Ric Flair came out with the WWF belt and the World Title. Flair said that last night at Vengeance, he promised the world that he would present the WWF title tonight to the winner. He introduces Chris Jericho. Jericho comes out and says he has a whole lot of people to thank and he brought a list so he won't forget any names. He said that no one thought he had a chance to become the undisputed champion, except for one person. That person always had the faith in Jericho and believed in him and that person is Chris Jericho. He thanks himself for being so strong and athletic and so talented. He loved proving everyone wrong. He thanks Rock and Austin for having such great matches with them. Rock and Austin, the two biggest stars in the WWF today and for Jericho to beat them both within 45 minutes was quite an honor. He said that Rock and Austin were both beaten by the better man. He thanks the fans (the little people). He realized that entertaining thew fans was worth nothing and he thanks them for making him realizing that. Jericho goes on to thank Vince McMahon. He said that Vince gave him the opportunity and Vince even the odds last night when he came out to ring side. Jericho finally thanks Ric Flair for being a man of his word. Jericho said that Flair won many titles, and Flair always wanted to be in a ring with a living legend, and he said he's standing with him now. Jericho tells him to award him the titles since he's the first and only undisputed champion.

Flair hands Jericho both belts. Flair said that tonight will be Jericho's first defense and it will be against Stone Cold Steve Austin in a 15-foot high steel cage.

Hardcore Title
Undertaker vs Spike Dudley

Undertaker came out, then Spike came and threw a trash can in the ring, but Undertaker just blocked it. Spike went on Undertaker's motorcycle and Undertaker got to the outside and beat up Spike. Taker tosses him in the ring and puts him up side down on the turnbuckle. Undertaker was beating him and Spike low blowed him. Spike tried to fight back by hitting Undertaker with trash can lids and stuff, but that didn't have any effect on Taker. Undertaker fought back by hitting him with the trash can lid and did the last ride on the trash can and got the 1,2,3. After the match, Undertaker choke slammed Spike to the outside.

Winner: Still Hardcore champion, Undertaker


Backstage

Vince McMahon and Booker T were shown in the arena accompanied by security guards who had a couple of dogs. Flair asks Vince what Booker T is doing here. Vince said that Booker T was invited as a guest. Vince apologizes for what he did to Flair last night. Flair notifies McMahon of the match he made earlier between Jericho and Austin. Vince makes a match of his own by putting Rock and Trish against the Dudley Boyz for the tag team titles tonight. Then Flair said that Vince doesn't need to apologize, because Flair will be the one apologizing later on.

Match #2
Kurt Angle vs Rikishi

Kurt Angle grabs the microphone and says that despite the tragedy that took place last night, he asked for this match tonight for Vince McMahon. Kurt tells them to roll the footage of what happened last week. They show Vince's face being shoved into Rikishi's ass from Smackdown. Kurt says that is gross and Vince is a man of class. Kurt said he dedicates his match against Rikishi to Vince McMahon.

Rikishi starts punching Kurt, then Kurt gets underneath Rikishi and does a German suplex. Kurt beats on Rikishi in the corner. Rikishi fought back with a Samoan drop. Kurt attempted a sunset flip, but Rikishi sat on him. Rikishi squashes Kurt in the corner and then Rikishi was going for the stinky face, but Kurt Angle got out of the ring and left. (side note: this is P.aul N.emer writing this report and if this report is posted by someone /* with no c.redit, it means it's been s.tolen) alright, back to the match. Kurt got counted out and Rikishi got the win. After the match, Rikishi put a hat on and started dancing, and Kurt Angle attacked him from behind, then Rikishi fought back and did the stinky face on Kurt. Rikishi started dancing again, then Kurt went, got a chair and nailed Rikishi with it. Then he delivered several hits on Rikishi and left.

Winner: Rikishi, by count out.

COMMERCIALS


The Dudleyz and Stacy were backstage talking. Buh Buh tells D-Von that he's so worried about their match against Trish and Rock (sarcastically speaking) and D-Von said maybe they should hand them the belts before they get embarrassed, then they both laughed. Buh Buh told D-Von to take care of the Rock and he knows exactly what to do for Trish.

Lance Storm comes in Ric Flair's locker room. Storm said he's too talented to not be wrestling and he demands a match for tonight. Ric Flair told him no and to get out.

Coach interviews Edge. Edge makes fun of Regal and Regal attacks him from behind and punches him with the brass knuckles.

COMMERCIALS

Lance Storm begs Flair again to re-consider and he told him that he will be an acceptional addition to his roster. Flair still said no.


Match #3
William Regal vs Kane

Referee Teddy Long searches Regal for brass knuckles and didn't find anything. Regal took the microphone and said that what he did to Edge was just the beginning. He said this is the new Regal.... Kane's music hits and he comes out.

Kane whips Regal in the turnbuckle and Kane clotheslines him. Back body drop by Kane. Kane puts him in the corner again and beats on him. Side walk slam by Kane, 1,2 but Regal kicked out. Clothesline by Kane and Regal goes to the outside. Kane goes on top and jumps, but Regal got out of the way. Regal got the pair of brass knuckles and put them in his left hand, but Kane knocks him down and throws him back in. In the ring, Regal punches Kane a couple of times with the brass knuckles and gets the win. (TSN censored that part)

Winner: William Regal

WWF Tag Team Titles
Dudley Boyz w/Stacy vs Rock & Trish Stratus

The match starts with Rock and D-Von. Rock kicks him and knocks him down. Back body drop by Rock. Rock sent him to the outside. Rock knocks down Buh Buh and goes back after D-Von. Rock beats up D-Von in front of the announcing table. Buh Buh went to help, but Rock threw him on the announcing table. Back in the ring, Buh Buh was tagged in and was a little in control, but not for long. Buh Buh tags back D-Von, Rock clotheslines D-Von. D-Von makes the tag and Buh Buh clotheslines Rock out of nowhere. Neck breaker on Rock. D-Von gets the tag back and chokes the Rock on the second rope. D-Von tags Buh Buh. The Dudleyz double team Rock. Rock fights back and clotheslines Buh Buh. Buh Buh got up and suplexed Rock, 1,2 but Rock kicked out. D-Von got the tag and knocked down the Rock. Rock fought back, then Stacy ran and pulled Trish off the ring apron. In the ring, Buh Buh does a neck breaker. Sleeper hold on Rock. Rock managed to get out. Rock hammers away on D-Von. D-Von fought back and knocked him down. Buh Buh got the tag and attacked Rock, then tagged D-Von right back in. Buh Buh accidently clotheslined D-Von, then Rock knocks down Buh Buh and all three men are down. They get up and Rock delivers punches on the Dudleyz. Double clothesline by Rock. Spine buster on D-Von followed the the sharpshooter, but Buh Buh makes the save. Spine buster on Buh Buh. Rock does the people's elbow on Buh Buh, 1,2 but D-Von makes the save. Rock tags Trish. Rock slams D-Von and Trish goes on the top rope and she does the wazzzup... Stacy gets on the apron and Rock throws her in. Rock grabs her legs and Trish goes on the top rope and she does the wazzzupp on her too. Test comes out and Rock fights with him on the entrance ramp, which allowed the Dudleyz to do the 3D on Trish and get the win. After the match, Rock went back and hit D-VOn and did the Rock bottom on Buh Buh. Test comes in and nails Rock with the boot.

Winners: Still WWF Tag Team champions, Dudley Boyz

COMMERCIALS

Vince and Booker T were shown at their box seats. Vince has the microphone and says that the Rock closed the Vince McMahon "Kiss my Ass club". But last night at the PPV, he laughed last and laughed the loudest. He said he has opened a new club, it's called "Vince McMahon kick your ass club". Flair, Rock, Austin and Trish a few moments joined the club. He said Rock joined it for the second time. The way to join this club is to cross the boss. Vince introduces Booker T to the fans.

Matt and Lita were backstage. Lita tells him that she didn't see his foot and she really doesn't want this match and she told him that she loved him. Matt says that she's saying that because she wants him to feel guilty for not talking. Matt said that just like the Hardy Boyz, him and Lita are breaking up and he closes the door in her face. Lita started crying and Jeff came up to check if she's ok.

Handicap Match
Matt Hardy vs Lita & Jeff Hardy

Matt and Jeff started fighting..exchanging fists. Matt beats on Jeff in the corner. Jeff fought back and he beats on Matt in the corner. Matt kicked him in the face and sent him to the outside. They started fighting on the outside. The fight went in the crowd. Back in the ring, Matt is in control. But Jeff fought back and did a cross body. Jeff went on the ropes and jumped on Matt. Jeff tried going for the twist of fate, but Matt threw him to the outside. Lita went on top and did the hurricanrana on Matt. Jeff misses the swanton bomb, and Lita tags herself in and she checks to see if Jeff is okay. Matt sneaks up and rolls her up for the 1,2,3.

Winner: Matt Hardy


Lance Storm goes back in Flair's locker room and he begs him again and tells him to just give him one match. If Lance wins, he stays, if he loses, he's gone. Flair agrees and tells him to get out.

Lance Storm vs Big Show

Storm drop kicks Show, but that didn't take affect at all. Show just threw Lance. Clothesline by Show. Storm tried to kick Show in the face, but Show blocked it and hit him. Heatbut by Show. Storm takes down the Big Show. Storm drop kicks him in the back of the head. Storm goes on the top rope and does a mistle drop kick, 1,2 but Show threw him. Big Show does the choke slam and gets the win.

Winner: Big Show

A lady brings Booker T and McMahon their food. Booker T said Austin might have done something to the food, so he double checks to make sure. He tells the lady to eat some and then he held two fingers up and asked her how many fingers he was holding and she said "two". She passed the test.

COMMERCIALS

A Triple H music video was shown. The music was done by U2.

Austin was shown backstage. WHAT! WHAT! WHAT! Vince and Booker T screwed Stone Cold the fans said "WHAT!" Austin was trying to make up his mind between Jericho and Booker T. Austin said he drove to go eat and he mentioned the stuff he ate and between every word the fans would say "WHAT!" He said Vince can stay in his little skybox with his little guards and the dogs and he can watch Austin kick Chris Jericho's ass.

Steel Cage
Undisputed championship
Chris Jericho vs Steve Austin

**This match can only be won by escaping from the cage**

Austin attacks Jericho on the outside. Austin delivers a few punches and chops. Austin sends Jericho into the announcing table. Jericho gets up and climbs the cage to enter the ring, but Austin went in through the door and the match officially starts. Austin in control. He delivers a few chops to the chest of Jericho, followed by kicks. Between every kick the fans would say "WHAT!". Jericho tried escaping the cage, but Austin caught up to him and pulled him down. Austin puts Jericho in the corner again and delivers chops. Jericho fights back. Jericho removes the padding of the turnbuckle. Jericho tried to send Austin into that turnbuckle, but Austin kept blocking it. Austin back dropped Jericho onto the cage. Austin throws Jericho on the cage again. Jericho fights back with a couple of hits, but Austin took him down and tried to do the Walls of Jericho but Jericho escaped the hold. Jericho kicked Austin in the face and did a modified bulldog. Jericho tried to get out of the cage, Austin got up and started punching him. Austin does a superplex off the top rope. Jericho tried to get out the door, but Austin grabbed his leg, then Jericho kicked him in the back of the head and he tried to escape again, but Austin caught up and dragged him back in. Stunner by Jericho!, and both men are down. Jericho tried to get out the door again, and again, Austin catches up and drags him. Austin threw Jericho three times on the cage. Austin takes off the padding on the second turnbuckle. Jericho was busted open. Austin kept sending Jericho's head into those turnbuckles. Austin does a slingshot on Jericho into the exposed turnbuckle. Austin was getting out the door and Jericho gave him the finger and Austin went after Jericho and gave him the stunner. Austin was getting out the door and Booker T slammed the door in Austin's face. Jericho crawls out the door and gets the win.

Winner: Still Undisputed Champion, Chris Jericho
