Raw starts with highlights of the HBK/HHH match from the Royal, with Austin's voice in th ebackground from last week's RAW, where Austin called out Benoit. They briefly recap Benoit's return to RAW.

Couple of matches announced for tonight:

- Goldberg vs. Kane
- Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Orton
- The Coach is back on commentary tonight.

Chris Jericho's Highlight Reel

Welcome back to the Highlight Reel. Tonight Jericho's guest has had more exposure than Janet Jackson's right boobie. His guest is Chris Benoit. Benoit comes out. Jericho congratulates him on winning the Royal Rumble. He said that Benoit is a genius for coming to RAW. Win the Rumble, come to RAW, beat HHH at WrestleMania. Jericho tells him that he's not only dealing with HHH, but he's dealing with Evolution and the biggest assclown, Eric Bischoff.

Benoit appreciates the warning, but he's well aware of those things. He's here to be the best, no one and he means no one is going to stop him from winning that world title at WrestleMania. If HHH feels a little different, he will have to prove him wrong. Jericho reminds him of the critics saying that Benoit can't win the big one. Jericho told him that people use to say the same thing about him, but he won the Undisputed championship. A lot of people think that Chris Benoit doesn't have it.

Jericho shows a small clip of Flair's interview backstage at the Rumble were he's saying he can't win the big one. Ric Flair's music hits and he comes out. Flair says "Is there something you don't understand?" "Chris Benoit, the most gifted technical wrestler of all time." Flair tells him to consider that a pat on the back. Flair said that in the real world, they call him runner-up, second best. Flair compliments HHH once again. Flair says "To be the man, you have to beat the man." Benoit says "You're absolutely right." But he will fight the man at WrestleMania. Then he challenges Ric Flair for a match tonight on RAW.

Eric Bischoff comes out. He tells Benoit to realize that he's not Paul Heyman. Bischoff tells Jericho to forget about the tag team #1 contendership match with him and Christian. Because it's going to be a Tag team title match now. Chris Jericho and Christian against Ric Flair and Batista tonight. Bischoff tells Benoit not to leave the ring because he's wrestling next.

Match #1
Mark Henry vs. Chris Benoit


Benoit starts off by delivering a couple of chops. Henry knocks him down. Benoit fights back, then Henry hits him again. Henry works on Benoit's back. Clothesline by Mark Henry. Benoit fights back with a few chops to the chest, but Henry knocks him down again. Benoit takes down Henry by going after his knee. Benoit goes on the top rope and jumps, but that didn't take Henry down. Benoit finally takes him down and manages to apply the Crippler's crossface and gets the win.

Winner: Chris Benoit


--COMMERCIAL BREAK--

Steve Austin is shown in the back. He sees Shawn Michaels. Austin says that HBK seems down because Benoit is on RAW and he thinks that he's not getting his title shot. Michaels says "Benoit won the Rumble, he's in and I am out." Austin says "You want a shot at the title, do something about it!"

They show highlights of Mick Foley's interview on RAW last week.

Mick Foley is shown in the back. Test confronts him and tells him that he has a lot of nerves for what he did at the Rumble. Foley says that he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Then Randy Orton jumps Foley from behind and hits him with the IC title. Orton says that Foley is his bitch.

Match #2
Rene Dupree w/ Rob Conway vs. Rico w/ Miss Jackie


Rico slaps him on his ass. Rico takes him down and rides him like a horse. Rico is on the outside distracted by Conway, which allowed Dupree to jump him from behind. Back in the ring, Dupree is in control. Irish whip and down goes Rico. Take down by Dupree, and applies pressure on Rico's neck. Sleeper hold by Dupree. Rico tries to fight back, but Dupree knocks him back down. Dupree continues to apply pressure on the neck. Back to the sleeper. Rico fights back once again with a jaw breaker. Atomic drop, followed by a reverse elbow. Back body drop by Rico. Martial arts kick by Rico, 1,2 but Dupree kicked out. Reverse kick to the face of Dupree and Rico covers, but Dupree kicks out at the count of two. Stacey Keibler's music hits and she comes to the ring. Back to the match. Stacy gets up on the apron and lifts her skirt, which distracts Rene Dupree. This allowed Rico to deliver a kick and get the win.

After the match, Stacy takes the mircophone and says that if Playboy is looking for the best WWE divas, it's her and Jackie. Then they both start dancing.

Winner: Rico

Christian is talking to Trish backstage. He had a Rolling Stones magazine. He starts telling her some story about how some chick broke up the greatest band. He said that if it was him, he would have taken that skank and slammed her to the ground. He was basically referring to her getting between him and Jericho. Then he wishes luck with her match.

WWE Women's Championship Match
Trish Stratus vs. Molly Holly


Trish makes her way to the ring. Then Bischoff is shown on the Titon Tron. Bischoff says that Trish isn't the #1 contender for the women's title. That match will not happen tonight. But he knows how much of a competitor she is. He has a match for her.

Kane's music hits and makes his way to the ring. Kane picks her up for the chokeslam, then Jericho comes in to save her. Jericho tells her to leave. Kane hits Jericho on the knee with a chair, then slammed Jericho into the post.

--COMMERCIAL BREAK--


Trish Stratus checks up on Chris Jericho. Christian comes in and yells at Jericho for trying to play the hero on the night where they have a world tag team title shot. Christian tells Trish to get out of there because she's caused enough damage. Jericho gets in his face and tells him to shut up and not to talk to her like that. He tells him to worry about the tag team match for tonight.

Match #4
Goldberg vs. Kane


They lock up. Right hand by Kane. Goldberg takes him down. Goldberg hammers away on him in the corner. Kane scores an uppercut. Goldberg takes him down again. Boot to the face by Kane. Kane chokes Goldberg. Kane chokes Goldberg on the rope. Sidewalk slam by Kane, 1,2 but Goldberg was able to kick out. Sleeper hold by Kane. Kane delivers a right hand, then chokes Goldberg again. Goldberg fights back with a powerslam. Clothesline by Goldberg. Kane catches Goldberg in a chokeslam. Then, the lights go off and a big lightning bolt hits the ring. Highlights of the Buried Alive match were shown on the TitanTron with the blue lights. The lights go back on, Goldberg spears Kane. Then Undertaker's music hits againt and a lot of smoke in the ring appears. Goldberg leaves. Kane is in the ring acting all scared with all the smoke around him. Then they cut to commercial.

Winner: No contest (no official announcement)

Booker T vs. Matt Hardy


Match starts with Matt Hardy backing Booker into the corner with some hard rights. Booker fights back with some hard elbows, sends Matt into the ropes and Matt takes him down with a quick clothesline. Matt hits a quick clothesline in the corner followed by a bulldog, getting a quick two count soon after. Booker gets up and hits some hard chops, hits the ropes, but Matt applies a headlock. Matt hits a big elbow to the head followed by choking Booker on the ropes. Booker gets some quick punches in, but Matt takes him down with a quick knee to the gut followed by a leg drop for a two count. Booker tries to hit a sidekick, but Matt reverses into his side-spinebuster. Booker fights back with some chops, hits a big sidekick and goes for the pin, but only gets a two count. Matt throws Booker into the corner, Matt charges, Booker lifts his elbow and Booker hits another big sidekick. Matt tries to use the ropes for the pin, but Booker barely kicks out. Matt charges off the ropes and gets a big boot from Booker for his trouble. Booker does the spinearooni, misses a sidekick, Matt attempts the Twist of Fate, Booker reverses into a kick to the gut and hits the Scissors Kick off the ropes for the 1, 2, 3.

Winner: Booker T

Backstage, Shawn Michaels was cleaning HHH's "blood" off his boots. Randy Orton walks up and asks if that is suppose to scare him. Orton said he isn't afraid of HBK and said he will do to HBK what he did to Mick Foley tonight. HBK asked Orton if he was going to hit him with his IC TItle. Orton said he was going to beat him fair and square and prove he is the legend killer. HBK told Orton to be careful because his blood could end up on his boot just like HHH.

Non-Title Match
Triple H vs. Spike Dudley


Before the match, Triple H got on the mic and said a familiar saying. He said be careful what you wish for. Triple H said if Benoit wants to be the best, he has come to RAW to face the quote "big daddy." Triple H said next week on RAW he will have a contract signing with Chris Benoit for the match taking place at WrestleMania XX for the World Heavyweight Championship. Triple H wished Benoit good luck against Ric Flair next week. Triple H compared himself to Ric Flair and how they both could handle the pressure of being the World Heavyweight Champion. Triple H told Benoit to watch and learn.

Spike Dudley comes to the ring and stares down HHH. HHH turns his back on Spike, Spike hits a big elbow, but HHH takes him down right away. HHH hits some hard chops on Spike in the corner. HHH hits a big suplex followed by a hard knee on Spike's face. HHH picks up Spike, gives him a kick to the gut and hits the Pedigree. HHH hooks the leg and gets the 1, 2, 3 for the win.

Winner: Triple H

Backstage, Steve Austin went into Goldberg's locker room. Austin said he wanted to talk to Goldberg about the SmackDown pay per view. Austin said he knows Brock Lesnar has been saying things. Austin said he had a front row ticket to No Way Out, but couldn't go. Austin gave Goldberg the ticket and said that if he goes, he represents RAW and he represents Stone Cold Steve Austin. Goldberg agreed and shook hands with Austin.

World Tag Team Championship Match
Ric Flair & Batista (c's) vs. Chris Jericho & Christian


Match starts with Christian and Ric Flair. Both men lock up, Flair takes him down, Christian reverses and backs Flair into the ropes. Both men lock up again, Christian takes down Flair, Flair gets back up, but Christian applies an abdominal stretch. Christian hits a big back body drop on Flair and only gets a two count. Batista gets the tag and he takes down Christian right away. Batista drops a few elbows on Christian followed by a big bodyslam. Flair gets the tag and he launches Christian into the corner. Flair hits a few chops in the corner followed by so hard rights and lefts. Jericho gets the tag and he hits some chops of his own on Flair. Jericho hits two big clotheslines on Flair, Batitsa hits the ring, Jericho ducks an attack from him and hits a big dropkick. Jericho goes for a pin on Flair, but Batista breaks it up. Jericho and Christian clothesline Batista to the outside. Christian hits a cross-body on Batista while Flair takes down Jericho with a big bulldog. Jericho attempts a Lionsault, but lands on his injured leg. Flair attempts the Figure Four, but Jericho countered out and locked on the Walls of Jericho. Flair starts to tap out, but the referee is distracted by Christian and Batista on the outside. Batista breaks up the Walls of Jericho and Flair locks on the Figure Four. Jericho tries to fight out of it, but ends up tapping out to give Evolution the win.

Winners & STILL World Tag Team Champions: Batista & Ric Flair

Non-Title Match
Randy Orton vs. Shawn Michaels


Match starts with both men locking up with Orton pushing HBK into the corner. Referee breaks it up, both men lock up again and Orton breaks it up with some hard right hands. HBK counters into some chops on Orton. HBK takes down Orton and holds him in a headlock on the ground. Orton fights his way up, throws HBK into the ropes, HBK knocks him down and applies the headlock on the ground once again. Orton fights back with some punches to the gut followed by a big elbow taking HBK down. HBK locks up with Orton again, HBK breaks it up and ducks. Orton hits a big dropkick, but it takes out the referee instead. Orton launches HBK into the corner with authority, taking HBK down. Orton gets the IC Title from ringside and brings it into the ring. Stone Cold Steve Austin's music hits and he comes down on his ATV with a new referee (Earl Hebner) on the back. Austin took the IC Title away from Orton and gave him the finger. Austin took the knocked out referee and put him on the back of his ATV and drove it away up the ramp. HBK gets back up and hits some hard rights on Orton. HBK knocked Orton over the top rope, but went over with him as well.

--COMMERCIAL BREAK--

Back from commercial break and Orton has a chin lock applied on HBK. HBK fights back with some hard elbows to the gut, but Orton takes him down with a hard knee when HBK came off the ropes for a charge. Orton applies the chin lock once again with his knee against HBK's back. HBK fights back, hitting hard chops followed by a big cradle for a two count. HBK gets up fast, but Orton takes him down right away with a big clothesline. Orton went for the pin, but only got a two count and applied the chin lock once again. HBK fights back and applies a headlock of his own. Orton counters quickly into a back drop, hooks the leg and only gets a two count. Orton goes up to the top rope, HBK gets up in the ring, Orton jumps, but misses the cross-body attempt when HBK moves out of the way. HBK hits some hard chops on Orton followed by a big forearm. HBK gets up on the top rope, jumps and connects with the elbow drop. HBK goes to the corner and stomps his foot, getting ready for some Sweet Chin Music. HBK charges, Orton stops the kick, HBK throws Orton into the ropes, Orton hits a kick to the gut followed by a big DDT. Mick Foley then appears on the ramp and distracts Orton, allowing HBK to roll him up for the 1, 2, 3.

Winner: Shawn Michaels

After the match, Foley hit the ring and attacks Orton. Foley clotheslines Orton over the top rope and then clotheslines him over the ring barricade. Foley follows Orton into the crowd and continues to attack him. Evolution runs down the ramp and they chase down Foley/Orton in to the crowd. Triple H stays back and goes into the ring. Triple H takes out Shawn Michaels and hits some hard rights over his body. Chris Benoit runs out, pulls Triple H off Shawn and both men stare each other down. Both men circle the ring and stare each other down. Triple H leaves the ring and tells Benoit he made a big mistake. RAW goes off the air with Shawn Michaels and Chris Benoit shaking each others hands...
