RAW starts with highlights of Batista's Rumble win and everything /* escalating until tonight, since tonight is the night that Batista makes his decision on whether he's staying on RAW or jumping to SmackDown.

WWE Women's Championship - Triple Threat Match
Trish Stratus (c) vs. Molly Holly vs. Victoria

Molly attacks Victoria from behind. Victoria fought back and threw Molly on the ropes, where she knocked Trish off the apron. Trish got back in the ring. Now it's Trish and Victoria. Trish is hammering away on Victoria in the corner. Trish chokes Victoria. Trish is sitting on the top turnbuckle and Victoria picked her up and did a sidewalk slam, 1,2 but Molly broke up the count. Molly does a suplex, 1,2 but Victoria kicked out. All three women are going at it. Trish and Molly double suplex Victoria, then they start fighting each other. Victoria pushes Trish on Molly. Back body drop by Victoria on Molly. Trish hits her from behind, but Victoria fought back with a headbutt. Victoria hits the widow's peak on Molly, 1,2 but Trish pulls Victoria out and Trish covers Molly for the 1,2,3.

Winner & STILL WWE Women's Champion: Trish Stratus

Flair and HHH are talking about Batista and Flair said that Batista is not here and he hasn't talked to him yet. HHH was upset that Batista isn't here. Flair said that Batista is just running late and that he'd be here.

--COMMERCIAL BREAK--

Christy and Candace were talking backstage. Trish Stratus came along and started insulting them. She said that she was taking care of business, that's what the RAW diva does. She beat the top two contender earlier. Christy insults Trish, then Trish slaps Candace. Christy attacks Trish and the fight was broken up.

Orton and Stacey Keibler were walking backstage and they see Shawn Michaels. He and Shawn started talking about WrestleMania, Shawn told him that he can't sit here and wait for opportunities he has to go out and prove himself. Shawn started having some WrestleMania flashbacks. (Orton and HBK will be facing Edge and Christian later tonight.)

--COMMERCIAL BREAK--

Chris Jericho vs. Simon Dean
Simon Dean was in the ring insulting the people and plugging his Simon System. He was really working the crowd. Chris Jericho's music hits and he comes out.

They lock up and Jericho does a wrist lock. Simon tried to fight back, but Jericho delivered a spring board drop kick. They fight for a few seconds on the outside and they take the fight back in the ring. Simon Dean applies a headlock and takes down Jericho. Jericho tried to fight back and placed Simon on the top turnbuckle. Dean jumped, but Jericho caught him with a drop kick. Jericho delivers a couple of shots followed by an inziguri kick. Jericho goes for the lionsault and Simon had the knees up. Simon went for the count, 1,2 but Jericho kicked out. Simon was going for a neck breaker, but Jericho counters and applies the Walls of Jericho for the win.

Winner: Chris Jericho

Teddy Long was talking to Eric Bischoff backstage explaining how Batista took care of business last night. Bischoff says that he's confident that Batista would stay on RAW. Shawn Michaels interrupts and tells Teddy Long to deliver a message to SmackDown. Shawn Michaels challenges Kurt Angle for WrestleMania and Teddy Long told him that he will deliver the message for him.

--COMMERCIAL BREAK--

Kane vs. Tyson Tomko
Tomko comes out with a microphone. He said that all this focus on Batista ia pathetic and that the spotlight should be on him, Tyson Tomko. He said that his new problem is Kane. The match starts with Kane delivering a few blows, then throws him into the corner, but Tyson fought back. It wasn't for long before Kane took control. Kane delivers a big boot and covers,1,2 but Tomko kicked out. Tomko fought back with a big boot to the face. Tomko is hammering on Kane, then applies pressure to the neck. The match went back in Kane's favor. Kane goes on the top rope and delivers a clothesline. Kane was going for the chockeslam, but Tomko ducks. Kane tackles him into the corner. Kane runs shoulder first into the ring post (Tomko ducked). A few seconds later, Kane managed to do the chokeslam and get the win.

Winner: Kane

Ric Flair sees a limo pull out backstage, thinking it's Batista. Chris Masters comes out of the limo and introduces himself and tells Flair to watch his match because he can learn a thing or two.

--COMMERCIAL BREAK--

Muhammad Hassan and Daivari came out. Daivari started talking in Farsi. USA chants started. Hassan said that since he debuted on RAW he's dealt with nothing but prejudice. He said that he was born in the U.S. and the people show him nothing but disrespect. He said that all men are created equally and he asks why is he the only one excluded from that statement? He said that he's undefeated on RAW, because he takes pride in what he does. That's why if Batista decides to sign with SmackDown, he should face HHH at WrestleMania.

Chris Benoit's music hits and he comes out. Benoit challenges him to shut up up. Hassan said "not tonight." Benoit attacks them both and they both fought back. Hassan and Daivari leave the ring as Benoit grabs his head in pain.

--COMMERCIAL BREAK--

- WWE SLAM OF THE WEEK: Randy Orton defeating Christian last week on RAW with the RKO.

Shawn Michaels & Randy Orton vs. Edge & Christian
The match starts with Randy Orton and Christian. Both lock up and Christian puts Orton in the corner. Orton fights back with a quick right elbow taking Christian off his feet. Both lock up again and brawl near the ropes. Christian gives Orton a few punches and kicks to the mid section in the corner. Orton gives Christian a quick hip toss followed by a side headlock takeover. Edge then grabs Orton and pulls him to the corner, getting the tag. Edge goes after Orton in the corner, irish whips him to the other corner, charges, Orton jumps up and rolls up Edge for a two count. Orton then tags in HBK. HBK gives Edge a quick chop followed by a knee lift. Edge gets in a hard right and tags in Christian. HBK gives Christian a few chops taking him off his feet. HBK nails Christian's head off the corner 10 times on all three turnbuckles. HBK gives Christian a back body drop, covers, but only gets a two count. Christian gives HBK a rake to the eyes and gets in a kick to the back. Edge gets the tag and he goes to work on HBK with a few elbows. HBK fights back with some hard rights on Edge and then knocks Christian off the ring apron. HBK gets a lou thesz press on Edge, giving him some hard rights. Edge fights back with a kick to the face and tags in Christian. HBK quickly rolls up Christian for a two count. Christian attempts a back suplex, but HBK reverses into a side headlock takeover. HBK gives Christian a hip toss followed by another side headlock takeover. Christian throws HBK down on the mat, attempts a dropkick, HBK counters, but Christian kicks him away and Edge pulls down the top rope allowing HBK to fly over the top to the outside. Edge clotheslines HBK off the ring apron as we head to a commercial break.

--COMMERCIAL BREAK--

We are back live and Edge has HBK in a headlock. HBK fights out with a few elbows and chops. Edge responds with a dropkick taking HBK off his feet, covers, but only gets a two count. Edge launches HBK into the opposite corner with impact. Christian gets the tag and he works on the back of HBK. Christian slaps HBK a few times in the corner. HBK responds with a few slaps of his own. Chrisitan quickly knocks him down, comes off the top, but HBK buries his fist in his stomach. HBK gives Christian a quick swinging neckbreaker and both are down. The referee starts the count. Edge and Orton get the tag. Orton takes out Edge with a big uppercut and powerslam. Orton knocks out Christian on the ring apron and then gives Edge some forearms to the chest. Christian gets up on the top and Orton knocks him off again. Orton gets up on the top, jumps and connects with a cross-body on Edge for a two count. Christian gets in a cheap shot and both Edge & Christian double-team Orton with a reverse neckbreaker. Edge covers, but only gets a two count. Christian gets the tag as the crowd chants "RKO." Orton gets in a few lefts and rights on Christian. Christian quickly takes out Orton with an elbow. Christian applies a headlock on Orton. Orton fights out with a few elbows to the gut. Edge gets the tag, but Orton takes out both with a double DDT. All three men are down as the referee starts the count. HBK gets the tag and he takes out both Christian and Edge. HBK gives both inverted atomic drops. HBK gives Christian a big back suplex, covers, but Edge breaks up the pinfall. Christian goes for the Unprettier on Orton, but Orton counters and gives him a jumping dropkick. Orton lines up Edge for the RKO, jumps, Edge counters and throws Orton into the referee. Edge gives Orton the Spear. HBK gives Christian a scoop slam, goes up to the top, jumps and connects with the flying elbow. Edge trips up HBK in the corner and both Edge & Christian pull him out to low blow him with the steel post. Both Edge & Christian grab two steel chairs. They look to give HBK the conchairto, but HBK ducks and they drop the chairs. Orton clotheslines Edge over the top rope. Christian tries to knock out HBK with the steel chair, but HBK ducks and gives him some Sweet Chin Music. HBK covers and gets the pinfall.

Winners: Shawn Michaels & Randy Orton

- Backstage, Eric Bischoff said Teddy Long only wishes he could have talent like that. The Coach comes in and informs Bischoff that Batista is set to arrive in the next few minutes. Bischoff said that is good, but Long said it is better for him.

- "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters debuts next.

--COMMERCIAL BREAK--

- Backstage, Maria congratulates HBK on his win with Randy Orton when Edge attacks him from behind. Edge starts to kick and punch him on the ground. Edge slaps him and walks away. HBK struggles to get on his feet when Edge comes out of no where again and spears him.

- Steven Richards is in the ring when a video runs for "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters. He then appears at the top of the entrance way with pyro going off around him.

The bell rings and here we go. Both lock up and Masters takes down Richards with a quick shoulder block. Masters shows off his body to Richards and they lock up again. Masters slams Richards down hard and flexes again. Richards gets in a few right hands followed by a kick to the back of the head. Masters lifts up Richards and powers him to the corner. Masters gets in a few forearms and kicks to the back of Richards. Masters gives Richards a back suplex. Masters runs and gives Richards a running shoulder block in the corner. Richards gets in a few chops to the chest, but Masters fights back with a big chop as Richards came off the ropes. Masters applies a full nelson on Richards. Masters slams Richards down still in the full nelson, keeps it applied and the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Chris Masters

- The plug the contract signing with Batista later tonight.

--COMMERCIAL BREAK--

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
Shelton Benjamin (c) vs. Gene Snitsky

Benjamin hits the ring as the bell rings. Benjamin gives Snitsky some hard rights. Snitsky catches Benjamin in a bearhug, but Benjamin fights out of it and gives Snitsky a kick to the legs. Benjamin clotheslines Snitsky over the top rope and goes along with. Benjamin tackles Snitsky to the ground and nails his head into the mat a few times. Benjamin kicks Snitsky in the head and puts him back in the ring. Snitsky gives Benjamin a knee lift to the gut followed by an armbar takedown. Snitsky kicks Benjamin each time he tries to get up. Snitsky gives Benjamin a big side walk slam, covers, but only gets a two count. Snitsky applies a wrist lock as the referee looks on. Benjamin fights out of it, ducks a clothesline by Snitsky and gives him a few hard rights. Benjamin takes out Snitsky with a jumping shoulder block. Benjamin splashes Snitsky in the corner, goes for the T-Bone Suplex, but Snitsky fights his way out of it pushing Benjamin down. Snitsky leaves the ring and grabs a steel chair. Benjamin baseball slides Snitsky with the steel chair in hand. Snitsky gets back into the ring. Benjamin grabs the steel chair and then knocks out Snitsky with it. The referee calls for the bell.

Winner by DQ: Gene Snitsky

After the match, Benjamin gets in the ring and lifts the steel chair high in the air above Snitsky. A shot of Snitsky knocked out on the ground is shown.

--COMMERCIAL BREAK--

- Backstage, Ric Flair leaves a message for Batista on his voice mail. Triple H walks in and says he can't believe Batista isn't here yet seeing as it is the biggest night of his career. He said tonight of all nights Batista has the guts to be over two hours late. Flair tells Triple H that he created Batista. Triple H said it is hard to get footage from SmackDown and get a limo with fake JBL horns on it. Flair asks Triple H if he orchestrated all that last week. Triple H admits it and says he was just trying to light the fire so Batista would take the offer from SmackDown. Flair calls Triple H a genious. Triple H said the plan will go to nothing if Batista gets greedy and stays on RAW. He said what is right for Batista is to go to SmackDown. The camera pulls out of the room and Batista is shown overhearing the conversation smiling.

--COMMERCIAL BREAK--

- A promo runs reminding WrestleMania 21 is only 41 days away.

- The plug that next week on RAW it will be Chris Benoit vs. Muhammad Hassan and Shawn Michaels vs. Edge in a Street Fight.

In-Ring Segement: Batista contract signing
RAW GM Eric Bischoff's music hits and he comes down to the ring. SmackDown GM Teddy Long's music hits and he comes down to the ring as well. Bischoff gets on the mic and says tonight we make history. He said tonight Dave Batista will sign one of two contracts - a RAW contract where he would get a shot against Triple H for the World Heavyweight Title or a SmackDown contract where he would face JBL & John Cena in a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship. Bischoff then introduces the 2005 Royal Rumble Winner Batista.

Batista's music hits and he comes out with Triple H and Ric Flair behind him. Batista, Triple H and Ric Flair all get in the ring. Batista walks up to the table and looks at both the contracts. Bischoff walks up and says he has a few things he would like to say. He said signing the RAW contract two things will happen - he will remain with RAW, the flagship program, the #1 brand in all of sports entertainment and the brand that made him a superstar. Bischoff said most important, signing the RAW contract he will face Triple H one-on-one for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania. He said it is the dream of every superstar in the business to face Triple H. Bischoff said this really shouldn't be a question, it is a simple thing. He said sign the RAW contract and reach your dreams. Teddy Long gets on the mic and tells Batista that their is a better choice. He said he could sign his contract and come to SmackDown. Long said he couldn't tell him that he didn't feel electricity last night at No Way Out. He said we all saw what he could do to the WWE Champion JBL and how he has the shot to start a classic rivalry with John Cena. Long said not only is JBL and John Cena waiting on SmackDown, Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, Kurt Angle and The Undertaker are all waiting as well. He said in order for that to happen, he has to sign the SmackDown contract tonight. Long says if Batista beats JBL & John Cena at WrestleMania for the WWE Title, he guarantees his career will blow up on SmackDown.

Batista takes both the contracts and stares at them. He takes one of the pens when Triple H gets on the mic and said this shouldn't be a hard decision to make. Triple H said there is really only one person he should listen to. He said it isn't what is best for RAW or SmackDown, it is what is best for you. Triple H said he doesn't have to worry about Ric or himself, because what is best for him is what is best for Evolution. He tells him to picture this - WrestleMania 21, he is standing in the middle of the ring still World Heavyweight Champion and standing right next to him is the new WWE Champion Batista. Triple H said they would rule the world and answer to no one. He compares it to the Four Horsemen, with Arn Anderson branching off to become world champion on his own. He also compares it to D-X, with HBK as WWF Champion and him as WCW Champion. Triple H said they have a shot to make history. He tells him not to be concerned about JBL or John Cena, because he knows he could beat both easily. Triple H said they have an opportunity to do the single greatest thing to ever be done in the wrestling business. He said it really doesn't sound like a difficult decision and he has a feeling what he wants to do.

Batista gets on the mic and said he has known what he was going to do for a long time. Batista throws down the RAW contract and holds up the SmackDown contract. Triple H and Ric Flair give him the thumbs up. Batista gives them the thumbs up and then turns it over to a thumbs down. Batista takes out both Triple H and Ric Flair. Batista grabs Triple H and gives him a Batista Bomb right through the table. Batista gets the RAW contract and signs it. He gets on the mic and says, "Hunter, I'm staying right here on RAW. And at WrestleMania, I'm taking the World Championship from you." Batista's music hits and he gets the World Title, raising it high in the corner as RAW goes off the air...

MATCH RESULTS:

* Trish Stratus defeated Victoria & Molly Holly in a Triple Threat Match to retain the WWE Women's Title.

* Chris Jericho defeated Simon Dean.

* Kane defeated Tyson Tomko.

* Shawn Michaels & Randy Orton defeated Edge & Christian.
