ABYSS MAKES HIS CHOICE AND SIDES WITH JAMES MITCHELL
Prior to Thursday’s main event bout pitting NWA World Heavyweight Champion Abyss against Tomko, manager James Mitchell once again reminded his monster that he would reveal his secret to the world if he sided with Sting. Later on in the bout, Christian Cage attacked Abyss, leading to Sting coming out to help the World Champion. It looked as though Abyss had made up his mind and joined Sting, but then the World Champion turned on the icon and attacked him! As “iMPACT!” went off the air, it appears that Abyss had made the choice to return home to his manager!
TEAM 3D INJURES KONNAN PRIOR TO TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH THIS SUNDAY ON PAY-PER-VIEW
Also during the broadcast, Team 3D attacked Konnan, the leader of the Latin American Xchange! Taking the opportunity to blindside Konnan while he was separated from Homicide and Hernandez, Team 3D sent a message to the LAX that the war is on! According to doctors, Konnan will be unable to attend this Sunday’s Pay-Per-View event as Homicide and Hernandez will go it alone against Team 3D with the tag team titles at stake!
CHRIS HARRIS SPEAKS OUT ON THE END OF AMERICA’S MOST WANTED
“Wildcat” Chris Harris spoke out on “iMPACT!” for the first time since the end of America’s Most Wanted. Harris stated he was still confused and hurt by what James Storm did to him, plus he’s not sure if – or when – he will be able to return to action from the eye injury he suffered at the hands of his former partner!
