There are several major news items to report from Wednesday’s “iMPACT!” broadcast as TNA Wrestling heads towards the February 11 “Against All Odds” Pay-Per-View! “iMPACT!” returns to its normal Thursday 9pm ET timeslot this week!
STING REVEALS THE TRUTH ABOUT ABYSS – AND PAYS FOR IT!
Sting promised that he would reveal the truth about Abyss’ past, and he did just that on Wednesday’s broadcast. Unfortunately for Sting, he would pay dearly for doing so in the end. According to the icon, after he investigated the public records concerning Abyss, we learned that James Mitchell’s monster attempted to kill his father, for reasons yet unknown. Sting asked the question “What caused you to fire three bullets into the back of a man who raised you from birth?” According to Sting, the attack put Abyss’ father into a coma, but he ultimately survived. Despite the revelation, there are still plenty of questions that remain unanswered.
Once Sting revealed the truth, Abyss went into a rage! The monster hit the ring and brutalized the icon, putting him through a table and attempted to choke him out with his steel chain. The two TNA stars fought to the back, where Mitchell appeared and threw a fireball in Sting’s face! The icon was taken to a local Orlando hospital via ambulance and was said to be in severe pain following the assault.
SAMOA JOE NAMES HIMSELF THE ENFORCER FOR THE MAIN EVENT AT THE PAY-PER-VIEW
Is Samoa Joe serving as Christian Cage’s consultant? The Samoan Submission Machine claims it’s not true, but his actions as of late say otherwise. Regardless, Joe has named himself the ringside enforcer for the Christian Cage vs. Kurt Angle NWA World Title main event bout at “Against All Odds”, as he wants to be next in line for a shot at the gold. According to Joe, he knows Angle can destroy Cage – so he wants to be the one to take the World Title from Angle if he wins it! However, the question remains – is it all a conspiracy by Cage and Joe? Is Joe the one training Cage for the title match, or is it just another case of Cage playing mind games with everyone?
