WWE Velocity Results - 5/8/04

QUICK NOTE: These results won't be extremely detailed. Everyone is aware this is a taped show and I'm pretty sure everyone reads the spoilers one way or another before or after Thursday. - The green pyro goes off and we are ready for Velocity.

- Theodore Long is in the ring and makes everyone in all corners of the arena stand up on their feet. He said it is now time for the Reflection of Perfection. Out comes Lex Lu...excuse me Mark Jindrak. Jindrak, with a silver cape on, gets into the ring and reveals his body to the crowd. Jindrak walks up to the mirror and stares at himself a little longer.

Mark Jindrak w/ Theodore Long vs. Scotty 2 Hotty
The match starts with both men locking up and Jindrak taking control right away. Jindrak launches Scotty into the ropes and brags about how strong he is. Scotty fights back with some quick chest chops. Jindrak launches Scotty into the corner followed by working on Scotty's left arm. The match ends when Scotty attempts a bulldog to step up The Worm, but Jindrak ducks and hits the Mark of Excellence. Jindrak hooks the leg...1, 2, 3.

Winner: Mark Jindrak

- A quick rundown of the upcoming WWE SmackDown Brand schedule is shown.

Orlando Jordan vs. Akio w/ Sakoda
The match starts with both men locking up and Jordan backing Akio into the corner. Akio pushes Jordan back and Jordan does the same, knocking Akio back into the corner. Another lockup, Jordan hits a big shoulder takedown followed by a big front face slam. Lots more quick offense by Jordan until Akio fights back with some quick kicks in the corner. Sakoda gets involved a few times, taking out Jordan. Jordan eventually gets Akio up on his shoulders, but Sakoda gets up on the ring apron pulling him off. Jordan knocks Sakoda off the top rope, Akio misses a dive in the corner and Jordan hits the Blacked Out for the win.

Winner: Orlando Jordan

UP NEXT: Booker T seeks some advice concerning his problems with The Undertaker on SmackDown this past Thursday night.

WWE REWIND: Booker T knocking out The Undertaker two weeks ago on SmackDown.

- Footage from SmackDown this past Thursday night was shown of Booker T getting some advice from a Miss Cleo type. Booker is told to get some dirt from an unmarked grave. He does so and when he leaves, a hand breaks through the dirt.

- Footage of The Undertaker taking on The FBI's Nunzio and Johnny Stamboli this past Thursday night on SmackDown was shown. The Undertaker got the win with a submission hold on Stamboli. After the match, Undertaker gave Nunzio a chokeslam and Stamboli a Tombstone Piledriver.

- Matches for WWE Judgment Day announced thus far: The Undertaker vs. Booker T, John Cena (c) vs. Rene Dupree for the WWE United States Championship and Eddie Guerrero (c) vs. John "Bradshaw" Layfield for the WWE Championship. (We are 8 days away and only three matches!?)

--COMMERCIAL BREAK--

WWE STING OF THE NIGHT: Jacqueline defeating Chavo Guerrero this past Thursday night on SmackDown to become the NEW WWE Cruiserweight Champion.

Jamie "By God" Noble vs. Spike Dudley
The match starts with Noble getting a quick headlock on Spike. Spike countered into a headlock of his own until Noble broke out of it. Spike goes for a quick cradle, two count. Schoolboy by Spike, two count. Noble hits a big gut buster soon after. Noble goes head first into the corner when Spike ducks followed by a big cross-body from the top by Spike. Spike hits a quick clothesline and stomps on Noble in the corner. The match ends when Noble goes for a Tiger Driver, but Spike fights out of it. Noble goes off the ropes and tries for a boot, but Spike ducks, spears Noble in the gut and hits the Dudley Dog. Spike hooks the leg...1, 2, 3.

Winner: Spike Dudley

LATER TONIGHT: WWE Tag Team Champions Charlie Haas & Rico w/ Miss Jacke vs. Billy Kidman & Paul London.

UP NEXT: The "shocking" footage from the SmackDown Brand House Show in El Paso, Texas last week with John "Bradshaw" Layfield causing a heart attack on Eddie Guerrero's mother.

--COMMERCIAL BREAK--

- Footage from the SmackDown Brand House Show in El Paso, Texas was shown. Guerrero introduces his two daughters, wife and mother. John "Bradshaw" Layfield breaks up the party, hitting a clothesline from hell on Guerrero followed by a shot to the head with the WWE Championship. Layfield then confronts Guerrero's mother, grabbing her and she has a heart attack as a result.

Footage of the Main Event from SmackDown this past week was shown. Heyman requests to Kurt Angle that Guerrero be pulled out of the match and have Rob Van Dam get a new partner. Angle agrees and says RVD will have a new partner tonight. Rey Mysterio comes out as RVD's partner as they battle the Dudley Boyz. After RVD gets the win for his team, the Dudley's begin to attack them. Eddie Guerrero then hits the ring taking out the referee, D-Von Dudley, Bubba Ray Dudley and Rob Van Dam with a steel chair. The announcers put over how Guerrero has no control over his actions and emotions.

--COMMERCIAL BREAK--

NON-TITLE MATCH
Charlie Haas & Rico (c's) w/ Miss Jackie vs. Billy Kidman & Paul London

Before the match starts, Haas stares down both Kidman and London. Rico crawls under him and poses as Haas backs up in disgust. Rico and Paul London start the match, locking up until London breaks it up with a headlock followed by a shoulder takedown. London backs Rico into the corner and he tries to kiss him, but London backs up in time. Kidman gets the tag, locks up, Rico goes behind him, Kidman reverses and goes behind Rico, but Rico bends over smiling. Kidman backs up quickly in disgust. Haas gets the tag and he hits a quick arm drag followed by a shoulder lock on Kidman. Haas picks up Kidman, keeping a submission lock as he backs up telling Rico to tag in. Rico tries to tag his back, but can't reach. Rico slaps Haas on the ass to tag in, making Haas furious. Rico jumps on Kidman, riding him around the ring and slapping him on the ass. As Rico gets near London, London kicks him right in the face. London gets the tag and hits a moonsault press on Rico for a two count. Miss Jackie first tries to distract London, but Kidman puts him back into the ring. Jackie then distracts Kidman on the outside, but Kidman gets back up on the ring apron quickly. Haas gets the tag and takes out both Kidman and London. The match ends when London rolls up Haas, but Haas kicks out of it. London jumps forward to the ring apron, but Rico grabs him and kisses him. London backs up shocked as Haas hits a big german suplex to get the 1, 2, 3.

Winners: Charlie Haas & Rico
