- Highlights from SmackDown this past Thursday night was shown of John Cena talking about his fourth match with Booker T next week in the Best of Five Series for the WWE United States Championship. Booker T is up 2-1.
- Mark Jindrak defeated Scotty 2 Hotty. The match ended when Scotty hit a sunset flip on Jindrak off the top rope, but Jindrak fell down on Scotty's chest and held onto the ropes for the win.
- Highlights from SmackDown this past Thursday night was shown of GM Theodore Long announcing that JBL will defend his WWE Championship against The Undertaker at No Mercy on October 3rd in a Last Ride Match.
- Highlights from SmackDown this past Thursday night was shown of the Kurt Angle vs. Eddie Guerrero Lumberjack Match with 20 SmackDown superstars surrounding the ring. The match never had an official finish as all 20 stars hit the ring in a big brawl when the Big Show returned to SmackDown - taking out all those involved and making his presence felt.
- The Basham Brothers defeated The FBI (Nunzio & Stamboli). The match ended when Stamboli gave Danny Basham a big pump handle slam. Nunzio rolled back in distracting Stamboli and allowing Danny to switch with Doug Basham. Stamboli turned around to go for the cover when Doug rolled him up and got the pin despite the referee missing Stamboli's leg on the bottom rope.
