- Paul London defeated Akio. The match ended when London countered Akio, grabbed both arms from behind and hit a jumping facebuster for the win.

- Shannon Moore defeated Mark Jindrak via DQ. The match ended when Jindrak continued to kick Moore in the corner while upside down when the referee made the count to five, causing the DQ finish.

- SMACKDOWN THROWBACK: Stephanie McMahon defeating Jacqueline to become the new WWF Women's Champion on March 30th, 2000.

- Highlights from SmackDown this past Thursday night was shown of Match #4 between Booker T and John Cena in the Best of Five Series for the WWE United States Title. Going into the match, Booker T was up 2-1. The match ended when Booker went for the Scissors Kick, but Cena countered it into an FU for the win. The series is now tied 2-2 and the deciding match will take place at No Mercy on October 3rd.

- Luther Reigns defeated Eddie Watts. The match ended when Reigns hit a spinning neckbreaker for the win.

- Highlights from SmackDown this past Thursday night was shown of the Big Show's decision to sign either Eddie Guerrero's contract or Kurt Angle's contract as to who he would face at No Mercy on October 3rd. Big Show signs Eddie Guerrero's contract first. Angle and Luther Reigns attack Guerrero shortly after and clap at Big Show for his decision. Big Show then tears up the contract and signs Kurt Angle's instead. Reigns takes out Big Show with a big boot, knocking him off his chair. Guerrero comes back in and throws Angle out of the ring. Reigns leaves quickly and Big Show takes the table and throws it at Angle/Reigns.

GM Theodore Long announces that next week on SmackDown it will be Big Show & Eddie Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle & Luther Reigns.

- Orlando Jordan defeated Scotty 2 Hotty. The match ended when Jordan countered The Worm from Scotty, allowing him to hit a big neckbreaker for the win.
