SHIMMER – WOMEN ATHLETES is pleased to announce the addition of SHIMMER Tag Team Champions “The Canadian Ninjas” NICOLE MATTHEWS & PORTIA PEREZ to our April events! They will be in action at the SHIMMER 53 event as part of WrestleCon on Saturday, April 6th, 2013 (the day before WrestleMania 29) in Secaucus, NJ, and also at the SHIMMER 54-57 tapings on Saturday & Sunday, April 13th & 14th in Berwyn, IL.
Another of the newest additions to the SHIMMER 53 event was MIA YIM, who recently returned to the United States after an extended tour of Japan. Mia has issued a challenge to another wrestler who built her initial reputation in Japanese rings, Amazing Kong! View the video at the link below.

We are teaming up with the folks at Filsinger Games to release a SHIMMER edition of their popular wrestling card games in the near future. Filsinger Games are innovators in the field, having produced the Champions of the Galaxy wrestling games in the past, and also recent editions for wrestling promotions such as CHIKARA, Ring of Honor, and Championship Wrestling from Hollywood.
The initial SHIMMER card set will feature sixteen wrestlers. The artwork for the first card in the SHIMMER set was revealed this past Monday, featuring SHIMMER Champion Saraya Knight (below).
