Interview highlights courtesy of WWEDVDNews.com’s Aaron Carnevale, MNM’s National Correspondent:

What it has been like for him to team up with Steve Corino as part of S.C.U.M: With me and Steve, our key is ‘gritty, not pretty.’ We’re in there to beat people up, win the match, and win the (Ring of Honor) World Tag Team Titles. We’re not looking to use nice, cute, high-flying stuff. We beat people up.”

Why the early WWE success of Seth Rollins (Tyler Black) does not surprise him: “No, it hasn’t surprised me. When I see him wrestling John Cena on Pay-Per-View, it is like seeing your son grow up and become better than you ever were. I’m extremely proud of Tyler, I’m not surprised whatsoever, not even a little bit. He was a Superstar from the first time I ever met him.”

His thoughts on the team of Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander and his prediction on S.C.U.M’s Grudge Tag Team Match vs. Coleman & Alexander at Ring of Honor’s 11th Anniversary Show in Chicago next Saturday night: “Let’s call them ‘The New Kids on the Block.’ That’s what they are. Myself and Steve have been in Ring of Honor since almost day one. Caprice and Cedric are nice. They are good. They are Ring of Honor. They are high-flyers, which is good and all. We’ve been telling people that S.C.U.M’s numbers will grow at the 11th Anniversary Show. Caprice and Cedric aren’t going to stop that.”

Much more is contained in Jimmy Jacobs’ exclusive interview with Monday Night Mayhem, including his candid thoughts on what he has learned from being in S.C.U.M and being on the same side as Kevin Steen, if there is dissension amongst the group, his motivation to recapture the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Titles, Jay Lethal’s ROH World Championship opportunity, why Ring of Honor’s events during WrestleMania XXIX weekend are so important to the company, his brutal wars with The Briscoe Brothers through the years, the metamorphosis of Jon Moxley into The Sheid’s Dean Ambrose, plus much more!
