Former ECW star set to retire after upcoming April events

Pro Wrestling Syndicate issued the following statement on their Facebook page.

“BREAKING PWS NEWS:

I have just been informed officially that wrestling veteran New Jack will be wrapping up his 21 year wrestling career at Pro Wrestling Syndicate Super Card on April 4th & April 5th. New Jack’s final match ever anywhere will happen on Friday April 5th in a first time ever meeting against The Necro Butcher.

New Jack is a highly recognized icon of the industry from his 1992 USWA emergence where The Gangstas engaged in a highly publicized feud with The Rock N Roll Express to being a mainstay top face of ECW , wrestling for TNA , and across the world for various independent organizations. Hell the guy was even referenced in a Weezer song.

Coming off the heels of PWS’ “Thank You Jerry” event last month which celebrated the career of Jerry Lynn in his last ever match in NJ , I am beyond humbled that New Jack has chosen his April 5th match against Necro to be his last match ever.

Thank you New Jack.”
