Paul London returns to ROH at Border Wars iPPV on 5/4

As announced previously, Pro Wrestling NOAH superstar Naomichi Marufuji suffered a serious knee injury during the 2013 Global Tag League tour currently ongoing and was forced to pull out of the upcoming “Border Wars 2013” and “Ring of Honor Wrestling” TV Taping events in Toronto next week. ROH officials have been working around the clock to find a competitor to fill Marufuji’s spot on the card and while no additional NOAH competitors were available to make the trip to Toronto on May 4th and 5th, we believe that the ROH faithful will be more than happy with Marufuji’s replacement because… PAUL LONDON IS BACK!!! It has been almost ten years since London set foot in the ROH ring, way back at the inaugural “Death Before Dishonor” where he challenged Samoa Joe for the ROH World Title, but the original homegrown hero is back! From his epic “Unscripted” clash with Michael Shane to his heart-wrenching World Title challenges against Xavier and from his “Epic Encounter” with Bryan Danielson to his “Night of the Grudges” classic with AJ Styles, London was one of the men who defined the face of Ring of Honor and now he is back where he belongs! As if Paul’s return wasn’t enough, he will also be competing in two matches against opponents he has never faced before in Davey Richards at “Border Wars 2013” on May 4th and Michael Elgin during the “Ring of Honor Wrestling” TV taping on May 5th! What a homecoming it is going to be for “The Intrepid Traveler”!!! Tickets for both events are on-sale right here in the ROH Store so please join us, not only for the absolute best professional wrestling on the planet, but as we welcome Paul London back home to Ring of Honor!!!
