– ROH Officials will have their eyes on both Luke Hawx and Raymond Rowe over the weekend. Both men bring a hard-hitting style and are capable of beating anyone on the ROH roster.
– It’s no secret Jay Briscoe is far from happy with the fact that Nigel McGuinness stripped him of the ROH World Championship after he was left unable to compete for 3 to 6 months. With all of the speculation surrounding Jay Briscoe, with all of the excitement surrounding “Death Before Dishonor XI” where a new World Champion will be crowned in Philly, one fact that may have gotten lost in the shuffle is this… Jay still has the World Title belt! ROH officials have reached out to Jay on multiple occasions over the last several months looking for the former champion to return the belt but those requests have been ignored each and every time. Finally, late last week, Nigel himself contacted Jay directly and announced that on September 20th, at Death Before Dishonor, Jay Briscoe, who is still severely injured, has promised that he will present the World Title to the winner of the tournament. I’m just trying to do my job. I have a piece paper saying that I am suppose to do this job and that I was hired to do this job. I show up to events to work and I get told to leave? You would think they hate my guts or something.”
