– GLOBAL WARS on May 10th in Toronto will see matches officially sanctioned by New Japan Pro Wrestling that will give fans the best wrestling from Japan on North American soil! As exciting as the New Japan matches will be, the windup to the event will be the highly anticipated main event between Adam Cole and Kevin Steen! Steen has been one of the best competitors all year in ROH – but he has never received a rematch for the title that he lost last year at SUPERCARD OF HONOR. – Also GLOBAL WARS will see the long awaited ROH return of Alex Shelley! – WAR OF THE WORLDS on Saturday May 17th at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City will be an unforgettable night for wrestling fans. This event will see ROH talent face off against New Japan talent in a true war between two worlds! There are still matches to be announced and the upcoming New Japan event on 5/3 in Fukuoka will have a huge impact on the IWGP Heavyweight Championship Match as current champion Kazuchika Okada will defend against AJ Styles. The winner of that match will defend against Michael Elgin on May 17th.
– Going into WAR OF THE WORLDS we could see Kevin Steen as ROH Champion… AJ Styles as IWGP Heavyweight Champion… and either Jay Lethal, Silas Young, Tommaso Ciampa, or Matt Taven as ROH World TV Champion.
– The atmosphere should be very special for Michael Bennett vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi at WAR OF THE WORLDS. Bennett has stated “When I slap my one of a kind, never ever seen before hold, the Go Back to Japan on Tanahashi it will never have more meaning.”

– At SUPERCARD OF HONOR, Roderick Strong defeated Cedric Alexander in a great one-on-one match but members of The Decade were integral in Strong’s victory. In light of that, plus what we saw on the latest edition of ROH TV, a rematch has been signed! At GLOBAL WARS, Roderick Strong and Cedric Alexander will once again lock horns…but The Decade is BANNED from ringside! This is Cedric’s big moment and could be a defining moment in his career.
– This week on ROH TV “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin battles New Japan’s Rocky Romero for the first time ever in the main event! – The summer of 2014 will be the hottest yet for Ring of Honor! On June 6th and 7th, we hit Carbondale and Collinsville Illinois on THE ROAD TO BEST IN THE WORLD. On Night 1, ROH officials have decided to give a huge opportunity to athletes not currently in regular world title contention. In Carbondale, six men will face each other in a 6-Man Mayhem Scramble. One of these men will face the ROH Champion in the main event and the ROH Champion could be either Adam Cole, Kevin Steen, or Jushin Thunder Liger!!
