ROH officials have decided to give a huge opportunity to some athletes not currently in regular world title contention. On Carbondale, six men will face each other in a scramble. The 6 participants were chosen at random from a pool of 12:

Whoever wins this 6 Man Mayhem will go on to face the ROH World Champion the very same night! The challenger will have to wrestle twice in one night to win, but the champion is also at a disadvantage – he won’t know who he’s facing until after the dust from the number one contender scramble has settled!
“UNBREAKABLE” MICHAEL ELGIN VS. JIMMY JACOBS
Michael Elgin’s ROAD TO BEST IN THE WORLD ends in Nashville with a World Title opportunity against Adam Cole. But on the way, he’ll take on ROH stalwart and Decade representative Jimmy Jacobs. Can Jacobs knock Elgin off course? Or is “Unbreakable” just unstoppable as he barrels toward Nashville?

Jay and Mark Briscoe have re-devoted themselves to tag team competition are taking on anyone and everyone in ROH! While they no doubt have Adam Cole and Michel Bennett on their minds, in Carbondale they face a combo representing The Decade. Jimmy Jacobs is in singles action, so BJ Whitmer has recruited his “young boy” Tadarius Thomas. The Decade claims they are the original soul of ROH, but Dem Boys have been here since Day One!

And his opponent is none other than the mysterious, amorous Romantic Touch! This might be the biggest singles match in The Romantic Touch’s career as he’s taking on a reigning ROH champion. Will love be in the air in Carbondale, or will Bobby Fish leave The Romantic Touch seeing stars?

Tommaso Ciampa has World Title match versus Adam Cole on June 7th in Collinsville. He believes he’s been overlooked for far too long and intends to prove all his detractors wrong. But first he needs to get through Carbondale against young upstart #AllEgo. The competition for a spot in ROH has never been hotter. And for someone like #AllEgo, this is the perfect opportunity to show he belongs in Ring of Honor. This is a battle of two men trying to prove they are some of the best wrestlers on the planet!
