The current IWGP Intercontinental Champion is a former three-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion and IWGP Tag Team Champion. He is also a winner of the G1 Climax Tournament.

The former “Super Rookie” has come a long way in New Japan since his 2002 debut. Aside from winning championships and tournaments in New Japan, Nakamura has challenged some of the toughest wrestlers in the world including a bout with Brock Lesnar for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship in 2006.

Nakamura’s hybrid style and absolutely unique charisma have made him a favorite of fans around the globe. At last year’s WAR OF THE WORLDS, he battled Kevin Steen in a gripping match that many heralded as match of the night. Who will face him this year?
