SPOILERS: 5/11 Ring of Honor TV Tapings from Toronto, Ontario setting up Best in the World PPV, main event matches set for PPV

The following was taped on Wednesday from Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the Ted Reeve Arena.

Ring of Honor TV Tapings for May 11, 2016:

Episode 1

* Matchmaker Nigel McGuinness did commentary with Kevin Kelly all taping long. Nigel announced ROH Champion Jay Lethal vs. Jay Briscoe for the ROH Title as the main event of the Best in the World PPV on June 24 from Concord, North Carolina.

* ACH def. Lio Rush. Silas Young, who was on commentary for this match, laid out both guys afterwards.

* In-ring segment with new ROH Tag Team Champions The Addiction, The Machineguns and RPG Vice, setting up a 3-Way Match where if Machineguns or RPG Vice pin the Addiction, they’ll get a tag title shot at Best in the World.

* The Machineguns def. RPG Vice and ROH Tag Team Champions The Addiction when they pinned Daniels. So, it’ll be The Addiction defending the ROH Tag Team Titles against The Machineguns at Best in the World.

* NEVER 6-Man Tag Titles: The Elite (Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks) (c’s) def. Hiroshi Tanahashi, Michael Elgin and Yoshitatsu to retain the titles.

Episode 2

* Kazuchika Okada def. IWGP Jr. Tag Team Champion Matt Sydal

* Colt Cabana def. Adam Page. Afterwards, IWGP Tag Team Champions Guerrillas of Destiny attacked Cabana and Page hung Cabana with his noose.

* BJ Whitmer promo ripping on Steve Corino. Corino then comes out through the crowd and goes after Whitmer. Security breaks them up.

* ROH Champion Jay Lethal w/Taeler Hendrix def. Donovan Dijak w/Prince Nana after Bullet Club interfered. Bullet Club attacked Lethal afterwards until the Briscoes made the save. Lethal and Jay Briscoe had a staredown soon after.

Episode 3

* Mark Briscoe was on commentary for this episode.

* IWGP Champion Tetsuya Naito def. MOOSE w/Stokely Hathaway

* The All Night Express def. Jushin Liger and Cheeseburger

* Roderick Strong ran out to complain some more and ended up facing off with Mark Briscoe at ringside.

* Silas Young promo ripping on ACH. Silas attacks a “fan” wearing an ACH t-shirt until ACH runs in to clear the ring of Silas.

* Kyle O’Reilly def. IWGP Jr. Champion KUSHIDA. They shook hands after and KUSHIDA appeared to agree to a future title match with O’Reilly.

Episode 4

* Dalton Castle def. Kamaitachi, Cedric Alexander w/Veda Scott and Caprice Coleman. Afterwards, Cedric and Veda argue and before Veda fires Cedric, Cedric says he quits and storms off.

* Tomohiro Ishii def. Will Ferrara

* Steve Corino promo about his feud with BJ Whitmer and their match at the Best in the World PPV, which will be a Fight Without Honor.

* 8-Man Tag: ROH Champion Jay Lethal, The Briscoes and Roderick Strong def. Bullet Club (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson and Guerrilas of Destiny) when Jay Briscoe pinned Tanga Loa.

* Afterwards, Mark Briscoe and Strong faced off again, as well as Jay Briscoe and Lethal. After Lethal and Strong, Jay Briscoe cut a promo saying that the Briscoes will be heading to New Japan soon to challenge Guerrillas of Destiny for the IWGP Tag Team Titles to close the show.
