Cody Rhodes will now face Zack Sabre Jr. instead of Johnny Gargano in his first match for the EVOLVE promotion on August 19 in Joppa, Maryland at the EVOLVE 66 iPPV as Gargano has had to pull out of the show due to another commitment. Rhodes will also be facing Chris Hero on the August 20th matinee EVOLVE 67 iPPV in Brooklyn, New York prior to the NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II special at the Barclays Center that same night. This will be Rhodes’ first matches on the indy scene since leaving WWE over a month ago.

SHIMMER has announced that they will be returning for another set of DVD tapings in the Chicago area in the month of November after a successful weekend of shows a couple weeks back. Taping dates are said to be finalized within the next week.
SHIMMER has also said that they will be catching up on their backlog of DVD releases, with Volumes 72 to 75 of their DVD series that was taped back in April of 2015 to be available later this month and then getting caught up on the rest of their backlog up til their most recent weekend of tapings, Volumes 81 to 85, throughout the rest of the summer and into the fall.
