Commercial

Back from commercial, we go to this week's "Inside Ring of Honor".

The first topic is a video showing highlights from the Kevin Steen-Eddie Edwards match from "Showdown in the Sun Day 2".

We then go to comments from the Ring of Honor World Champion Davey Richards about the match with Steen at Border Wars.

Richards says "Screw credentials, screw my jiu-jitsu credentials, screw my amateur wrestling credentials". "Hell, screw the World Title". "Not about credentials, not about respect, its about me beating your fat ass and shutting you up once and for all". "You're not a wrestler, Kevin". "You're not an athlete, you're a fat kid in basketball shorts pretending". "I know you got your promos on the Internet and that's a beautiful thing, nothing gonna save you, cuz that ring is mine". "So come one time, cuz its only gonna happen once, Toronto, heads are gonna roll".

We then go to comments from Kevin Steen, who says "There's 2 dates in my wrestling career that haunt me". "1st one is December 18, 2010 at Final Battle when El Generico beat me and I was kicked out of Ring of Honor for over a year". "The 2nd one is July 25, 2008 when I faced Nigel McGuinness for the Ring of Honor World Title in Toronto and I came up short". "But now May 12th, back in Toronto, I get the match that I have been waiting for for a very long time when I face Jim Cornette's World Champion Davey Richards". "And I'm faced with a choice; Do I go with redemption for my loss to Nigel, or payback for what Jim and Ring of Honor have done to me". "Well, if Jimmy Jacobs's choices have taught me anything, its that redemption fails and payback is the way to go". "Jim, Davey, this is as serious as I can get, I'm not laughing anymore, the joke's over". "May 12th, I leave Toronto with the Ring of Honor World Title and then payback begins".

The next topic is the line-up for Border Wars with a newly announced match, a "Showdown in the Sun" re-match as "The Prodigy" Mike Bennett will take on one more time, Lance Storm. We then go to comments from Lance Storm.

Storm says "21 years I've been doing this, 21 years I've seen it all and Mike Bennett, in you, I see potential for greatness". "But, I also see potential for disaster". "You don't know when to leave well enough alone". "Disrespecting me in the ring, during the match, I'm fine with that, I've done it myself". "But what you did after that match, laying me out one more time, that was a middle finger to the fans and to the wrestling industry". "It was uncalled for and its something you have to answer for, cuz in Toronto, Canada, my home away from home, I'm gonna make you answer for it, answer for the disrespect in the ring and out of the ring". "Lance Storm is not going out laying on his back with you and your 2-bit girlfriend standing over me". "You should have left well enough alone".

Commercial

During the commercial break, we see a hype promo for Border Wars as Kevin Kelly interviews "The Prodigy" Mike Bennett. Bennett says "You see this smile on my face?" "You know why that is?" "Its cuz Lance Storm has begged, he practically got on his knees and begged for a re-match because in Ft. Lauderdale, he said he was gonna shut my mouth". "But Lance, the only thing that was shut....down...was you and your career." "So, in your hometown, no, no, no, no, home country, you wanna shut me up again?" "Well, that's fine, your Ring of Honor career is gonna end on a downslide".

Kevin Kelly runs down the matches for next week's show in Baltimore, MD, including an interview with Kevin Steen as we go to credits.

There will be no thoughts this week as these are matches from the most recent Internet PPV. However, if you would like to hear a detailed review of both "Showdown in the Sun" Internet PPVs, you can listen to the "free" podcast review that was done with NXT Recapper Gregory "Grash" Walek, Independent Roundtable Co-Host Nicholas Gray & myself at this link: click here to stream or download.

Well, that will do it for me this week. I want to thank you all for reading and I will be back next week, but remember...

If you are a non-VIP, every Thursday, myself and Nicholas "OneManX" Gray bring you The Wrestleview Independent Roundtable, looking at the world of Indy wrestling, whether it be from Ring of Honor, FCW, SHIMMER, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, CHIKARA, CZW, Dragon Gate USA, EVOLVE, and many more independents from around the world with weekly recaps of the ROH & FCW TV shows and DVD reviews. For more visit vip.wrestleview.com.

(Programming Note: This week, my co-host Nicholas Gray will not be on the show as he is getting ready for his move over to Florida.
