Before the match, Madison Rayne told Velvet Sky and Lacey Von Erich that she will be okay and tells them to head to the back. Tara goes after Rayne right away knocking her down on the ramp. In the ring, Rayne fights back taking down Tara with a big kick. Tara kicks Rayne away and then drops her over the ring apron. Lots of pinfall attempts between Tara and Rayne early on. Tara drives Rayne into the corner and hits a few shoulder charges. Tara with a suplex on Rayne and rolls through into a guillotine choke. Rayne with some big right hands on Tara that knock Tara off her feet each time. Series of counters between the two until Tara gets Rayne up for the Widow’s Peak and connects. Rayne rolls out of the ring after it is executed. Tara pulls Rayne back in, plants her near the corner and connects with a big top rope moonsault. Tara covers Rayne and Rayne kicks out. Tara can’t believe it. Tara starts stomping Rayne repeatedly, goes back up top one more time, attempts a second moonsault and Rayne moves out of the way. Rayne then drives her knee into the head of Tara and pulls Tara down. Rayne covers Tara and gets the pinfall. Tara’s career in TNA is over.

Winner & STILL TNA Knockouts Champion: Madison Rayne

After the match, Madison Rayne holds up the TNA Knockouts Championship and celebrates. Tara is just sitting up and taking in the moment. Rayne waves goodbye as she heads to the back. Tara starts crying and walks around the ring. Tara calls for her spider and holds it up. A member of TNA security gets in the ring trying to escort her to the back. Tara follows suit and takes one last look at the crowd.

Backstage, Eric Young is with TNA World Tag Team Champions Kevin Nash and Scott Hall. Young said he joined The Band when Sean Waltman went down and stepped up. Hall said he doubted Young at first, but praised him for stepping up. Nash said it isn’t Nash and Hall who are the champions, it is The Band and you never know who you will be facing. He added that he has tattoos on his body that are older than Shannon Moore and Jesse Neal and that tonight will not be their night.
