Samoa Joe has “backstage blow up” at TNA taping

There are a series of reports making the rounds among the wrestling media today regarding Samoa Joe and TNA Wrestling. Jason Powell of Prowrestling.net reports Joe “blew up backstage” following his time limit draw finish with Jeff Hardy that aired on TNA Impact two weeks ago. Joe was said to be very upset with production team members Keith Mitchell and David Sahadi, along with Vince Russo, for allowing Jeremy Borash to announce on the mic that 30 seconds remained in the match. He was said to have felt it telegraphed the finish. TNA President Dixie Carter was said to have been around when Joe blew up backstage. Joe was not at the recent set of Impact TV tapings last Monday and Tuesday in Orlando and one source is reporting that he may have been suspended indefinitely by the company as a result of his backstage blow up. It remains to be seen if he was scheduled for time away from TNA ahead of time by not attending the tapings last week.

We will continue to follow this story as it develops.
