Gunner and Murphy officially sign deals with TNA

Gunner and Murphy have signed two year talent contracts with TNA and have been moved from “security” on the air to part of the roster. Gunner (who went under the name Phill Shatter) confirmed this after dropping the NWA National Heavyweight Championship on February 19 in New Jersey to Chance Prophet. Murphy had been wrestling in the Southeast indy scene under the name Mikael Judas. The deal was said to be similar to that of Tommy Mercer (Crimson) in that they can’t appear on any television shows (not even local television), but are allowed to work indy dates although TNA has first priority.
