Jeff Hardy pulled from UK tour, Sting now being listed

TNA Champion Jeff Hardy has been pulled from the upcoming UK tour that starts on Monday in Ireland.  Dave Meltzer had reported earlier this week that Hardy wouldn’t be able to make the trip due to his past legal problems.  At the time the report came out TNA was still advertising Hardy for all UK events.

Sting is now listed as taking Hardy’s place on the tour and they are expected to use an angle taped for next week’s 1/24 Impact Wrestling as the reason he couldn’t be part of the trip.  It should be noted that last year was billed as Sting’s final tour of the UK in his wrestling career.  Hardy not being part of the tour means he will be kept off television for the next four weeks for shows airing on 1/31, 2/7, 2/14 and 2/21.
