The following was taped on Thursday from Peoria.
TNA Impact Wrestling for June 27, 2013:
1. Suicide def. TNA X-Division Champion Chris Sabin & Kenny King to win the title after using the ropes on a pin for leverage.
* Hulk Hogan came out and said that wasn’t the real Suicide who won the title. The real Suicide was attacked backstage before the match. The impostor Suicide then ran away through the crowd.
2. Adam O’Reilly def. Brian Howe in a Gutcheck Match.
* In-ring promo with Sting & Kurt Angle. Talked about adding another member to the Main Event Mafia tonight in their attempt to destroy Aces & Eights.
3. Magnus def. Bobby Roode in a BFG Series Match.
* TNA Tag Team Champions James Storm & Gunner came out. They were interrupted by Robbie E & Jesse. They went back and forth on the mic with Storm calling Jesse’s girlfriend, Tara, a butterface. This led to Gunner knocking out Jesse.
4. TNA Knockouts Champion Mickie James def. Velvet Sky to retain the title.
* Velvet was interviewed afterwards and broke into tears.
5. Samoa Joe def. Mr. Anderson in a BFG Series Match.
* During the match, Aces & Eights came out. This led to Sting & Kurt Angle coming out also to even the sides. It appeared after the match that Samoa Joe was the newest member of the Main Event Mafia.
* In-ring promo with Hulk Hogan. Wanted to know who the impostor Suicide was. Bully Ray came out because whoever the impostor Suicide was could get a title shot at the Destination X show on July 18 by virtue of winning the X-Division Title earlier. The impostor Suicide came out and revealed himself to be Austin Aries. Aries said he is gonna win the TNA Title from Bully Ray on July 18. This closed the show.
