SPOILERS: TNA Impact Wrestling tapings for July 4

The following was taped on Saturday in Las Vegas, Nevada.

TNA Impact Wrestling tapings for July 4, 2013:

* The taping opened with Hulk Hogan bringing out the new TNA X Division Champion Austin Aries who won the title the previous week as Suicide. It’s put over how the current X Division Champion will get to “cash in” a shot at the TNA Championship on the 7/18 edition of Impact in Louisville. Hogan announces that Aries will defend the title tonight in a triple threat against Chris Sabin and Manic (who remains TJ Perkins in the same Suicide costume except the name “Suicide” no longer appears on the front).

* AJ Styles def. Kazarian in a Bound for Glory Series match.

* TNA Knockouts Champion Mickie James cut a promo with a ladder talking about the #1 contenders match next week between Gail Kim and Taryn Terrell.

* Hernandez def. Jay Bradley in a Bound for Glory Series match.

* Aces and Eights come out. TNA Champion Bully Ray threatens to “take out” Austin Aries and prevent him from cashing in.

* TNA Tag Team Champions James Storm and gunner def. Robbie E and Jessie Godderz.

* The Main Event Mafia (Sting and Kurt Angle) were out next to introduce the latest member: Samoa Joe. They introduced the fourth member next: Magnus.

* Jeff Hardy def. Joseph Park via DQ in a Bound for Glory Series match.

* Gut Check segment with Ryan Howe. Apparently The Big O was already eliminated. Al Snow voted no. Danny Davis voted yes. Bruce Prichard voted no. Howe is out.

* Chris Sabin def. Austin Aries and Manic to become the new TNA X Division Champion. Aces and Eights were at ringside. Main Event Mafia members also came out. They did a spot where Manic jumped over the Aces and Eights at ringside and Doc gave Manic a huge powerbomb on the floor. It left Sabin and Aries in a one-on-one scenario for the rest of the match.
