Mike Johnson is reporting that TNA has decided to quietly retire the TNA Television Championship along with the Knockouts Tag Team Champions.
The Knockouts Tag Championships were retired due to not having enough Knockouts and would rather focus the Knockouts division around the singles title. It is said that both titles were retired due to the concepts of Open Fight Night and Gut Check sticking around, other things would have to be removed to keep things from being cluttered. Both titles are seen as being able to be re-introduced down the line if TNA would need them to.
