According to a live report sent to The Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Online, TNA road agent Pat Kenney (former ECW star Simon Diamond) informed the audience shortly before a TNA event on Saturday in Cape Girardeau, Missouri that “roughly half” of the talent would be unable to wrestle on the card that evening.
Kenney stated that talent were unable to wrestle due to commission licensing issues with the state of Missouri. The company immediately offered refunds to those in attendance. Those who didn’t take the refund were offered to take part in the TNA meet and greet with all talent for free following the event.
Talent that did wrestle on the card including James Storm, Bully Ray, Devon, Gunner, a tag match involving those four again, Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode, Jeff Hardy and Kurt Angle.
Storm issued a tweet thanking fans who attended the show despite the issues.
Want to say thank you Cape Girardeau. We busted our asses to give you a great show. Thank you for believing in @IMPACTWRESTLING .
