The following took place on Wednesday in Orlando, FL.
TNA Impact Tapings for October 29:
– The show began with Desmond Wolf and Kurt Angle. Wolf told Angle he would break his neck in their match later tonight.
– The Motor City Machineguns def. Team 3D. This is the match that Sabin suffered a concussion in. Finish saw Devon tap to Shelley.
– Bobby Lashley def. Eric Young via DQ. Scott Steiner interfered hitting Lashley with a steel chair. After the match, Eric Young cut a promo renaming the TNA Legends Title to the TNA International Title and wants to defend it against American wrestlers or in America.
– At this point Kevin Nash interrupted Eric Young’s promo and told production to “edit his comments.” Nash said it was bullsh*t to have kept the match going earlier while Chris Sabin was hurt on the apron. He said the match is taped and can always be redone. Nash said you should always take care of your people first. He then started to go back into character for the TV taping cutting a promo about Beer Money and World Elite.
– Tara def. Alissa Flash. After the match, Awesome Kong hit the ring and gave Tara an Implant Buster.
– Matt Morgan def. Rhino. After the match, Rhino gave Morgan a Gore. Hernandez ran down for the save.
– The Beautiful People def. ODB, Christy Hemme & Hamada.
– Abyss def. Dr. Stevie in a No DQ match. After the match, Stevie started attacking Abyss. Mick Foley ran down with a kendo stick and hit Stevie with it.
– Desmond Wolf vs. Kurt Angle went to a no contest when Wolf hit a big clothesline on Angle. Angle sold it as a neck injury.
– Xplosion: TNA X Division Champion The Amazing Red def. Jay Lethal.
