SPOILERS: 8/7 TNA Impact Wrestling tapings in New York City

The following was taped on Thursday night in New York City.

* Xplosion: TNA Knockouts Champion Gail Kim def. Brittany.

* Xplosion: Austin Aries def. Knux.

Impact Wrestling tapings for September 11, September 18 & September 25, 2014:

* Chris Melendez def. DJ Z (appeared to be a retape from his original debut).

* Bobby Roode comes out celebrating that he is now the new No. 1 Contender for the TNA Championship. Out next was TNA Champion Lashley, MVP and Kenny King. MVP says this isn’t a movie and the reality is that Lashley will retain his title. All three attack Roode. Samoa Joe and Eric Young hit the ring to make the save.

* Bobby Roode, TNA X Division Champion Samoa Joe and Eric Young def. TNA Champion Lashley, MVP and Kenny King.

* The BroMans and Velvet Sky def. Rebel, Crazzy Steve and Knux.

* Kurt Angle cut a promo on EC3. EC3 is mad that Angle did nothing about Dixie Carter being put through a table. He promises to take Angle out for good if his demands are not met. Angle books EC3 in a street fight against Rhino.

* EC3 def. Rhino in a street fight match.

* Velvet Sky is revealed as being on the cover of the 2015 TNA Knockouts calendar. Angelina Love wasn’t happy about this. Jessicka Havok is out who took out Gail Kim on the ramp and then gave Brittany a chokeslam in the ring.

* James Storm and The Great Sanada def. Tajiri and Austin Aries.

* Bram def. Gunner.

* Xplosion: Crazzy Steve def. Rockstar Spud.

* TNA Tag Team Champions The Wolves def. The Hardys and Team 3D in a ladder match. This ties up the series to have one final match between the three teams.

* MVP tried to recruit Chris Melendez to his crew and be their bag carrier. Melendez declines.

* Chris Melendez def. Kenny King.

* Jessicak Havok won a Knockouts Battle Royal.

* Lashley def. Bobby Roode to retain the TNA Championship.

* Abyss def. Samuel Shaw.

* TNA X Division Champion Samoa Joe def. Homicide.

* Xplosion: Magnus def. The Freak.
