Impact Wrestling on Spike TV update, light schedule for TNA

TNA President Dixie Carter teased more Impact Wrestling tapings in New York City on Twitter this week. The last set of tapings in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania taped Impact through 11/19 (meaning shows were taped to air following Bound for Glory before that PPV takes place in a few weeks on 10/12). The plan right now is for the company to run a series of best of/highlight shows for a few weeks to finish out the current television extension with Spike TV.

Still nothing new to pass along regarding a new television outlet. Wrestling media reports this week indicated the company remains in negotiations with many outlets including WGN America, Velocity, CMT and others that may not have been made public yet. With TNA only having Bound for Glory on the schedule for the rest of 2014, the company was described as loosening up on the policy of not allowing talents to appear at indy events filmed for DVD.
