TNA has plans to run Slammiversary PPV per new report

TNA is said to be making plans to hold their first PPV event of the year, Slammiversary, this June per a new report by Dave Meltzer. An official date and location isn’t known.

The company had been averaging around 8,000 buys per PPV event in 2014 towards the end of the run on Spike TV and are now on a network with an even smaller reach.

Outside of pre-taped “One Night Only” specials, TNA only ran four live PPV events in 2014, The company has largely become a television focused promotion since the debut on Destination America in January and the only events confirmed as of this writing are Impact Wrestling tapings in Orlando at Universal Studios on 5/8, 5/9, 5/10 and 5/11.

Thanks to readers sending word about the incorrect live PPV events in 2014.
