Bully Ray appeared on the Monday (5/11) edition of the “Busted Open” radio show on Sirius XM satelitte radio and talked about his recent return, saying that it was a one shot deal.
“That was a one shot deal. They called and they said “we need a referee for the World Heavyweight Championship match. Do you want to do it?” I said “yeah I will come and do it, no problem.” That’s it. I’m at the point in my life and in my career and Devon too, where we are really enjoying doing what we want to do, when we want to do it. This is like the first time in my entire career where I haven’t been on someone else’s schedule. So I really dig doing a lot of the smaller shows around the United States, or going back to do something like The Royal Rumble, or going back to be a referee for TNA. It is actually a lot of fun.”
