Impact opens up with Matt Hardy arriving to the arena with his family and EC3 arriving with Tyrus.

Jeff Hardy comes down to the ring and he says that something doesn’t feel right about the situation with his brother and EC3 tonight. He calls Matt Hardy down to the ring and Matt doesn’t make him wait long. Jeff says that he and Matt have made a living being risk takers and they became famous because of a ladder, and people have always considered Jeff the “artist” of the family but when it comes to the in-ring work Matt has always been a master. He says that he owes his career to Matt and he has learned more from Matt than anyone else, but tonight feels “too risky” to him and it doesn’t feel right to him. He says that he is uncomfortable with the match tonight.

Matt says he understands where Jeff is coming from but he feels like he let Jeff, the fans, and the rest of his family down. Matt says his career is at a crossroads but there is a feeling inside of him that is telling him that you should bet it all on Matt Hardy. He says that he respects Jeff for voicing his opinion on this because he has never beaten EC3 one-on-one, but that all changes tonight. Jeff says that he knows all about letting people down but he knows what EC3 is capable of. Matt says when it comes to EC3 he leads with his ego which is why he put all of his chips on the table to get EC3 to get back into the ring with him. He says that pro wrestling is alot like chess and he is supremely confident that he will put EC3 in checkmate. Matt says when he becomes champion again all of his dreams come true and he will make Jeff and his family proud tonight. Matt says he will show the world that he is the premier wrestler on the planet. Jeff says that if Matt believes then he believes it and if he believes it then his creatures believe it. Jeff says that he predicts we will have a new champion by the end of the night and all of his creatures will be chanting “Hardy.”

Tyrus walks onto the stage wearing tights that say “I am a glorious unicorn,” yes I am serious. Tyrus says that The Hardyz are talking about dreams tonight but one mistake can make a dream a nightmare. He says that EC3 has Matt so he is out here for Jeff. Tyrus says that up until now everything has been about personal but Jeff made things personal when he called Tyrus stupid last week. He says that since Jeff wants to be a smartass then his ass belongs to him. He challenges Jeff to a match tonight. Jeff says that everyone knows Tyrus isn’t real great with letters so he might not be any better with numbers so he might not be able to tell time so instead of waiting they should do this now!

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

“The Charismatic Enigma” Jeff Hardy vs. Tyrus

Tryus dodges a lockup attempt from Tyrus and puts him in a side headlock only for Tyrus to shove Jeff into the ropes and lay him out with a shoulder block. Tyrus tosses Jeff into the turnbuckles and lays into him with body shots. Jeff tries to fight his way out of the corner but Tyrus shoves him away and then charges right into an elbow from Jeff. Jeff attempts to leap to the top for what I think was going to be Whisper In The Wind, and either his knee gave out or he just slipped (or Jeff is just great at selling) causing him to crash to the mat. Tyrus immediately jumps on Jeff’s leg elbow dropping and stomping it. Tyrus goes to the floor and pulls Jeff, nuts first, into the ring post. Tyrus then shoves the referee away as he grabs a chair and goes to hit Jeff with it causing a DQ.

Winner: Jeff Hardy via DQ

Tyrus conitnues to work on Jeff, despite the DQ, and goes for the ICU Spike only for Jeff to counter into the Twist of Fate! Jeff is still hobbling as Tyrus retreats.

A video package highlights the history of the Feast or Fired Match, which will take place next week. This year the briefcases will contain World Title, KOTM Title, and Tag Team Title shots and the last obviously having the pink slip.

Backstage The Wolves cut a promo about the return of Beer Money. Davey says that two years ago they came to TNA and have overcome every team in the company including the Hardy Boyz and Team 3D, but now it seems like the best has been saved for last as Beer Money returns. They want to dance with them and then Crazzy Steve walks by laughing hysterically at them. The Wolves look confused and ask Steve what the hell is doing when someone off camera attacks them and lays them out. It seems that it was Abyss that attacked The Wolves.

TNA Knockouts Championship
Gail Kim (c) vs. Awesome Kong w/The Dollhouse

Kong shoves Gail repeatedly as the match starts and then pie faces her to the mat before bullying her in the corner with some wicked strikes. Kong hits an Awesome Splash in the corner and then she hits a Spinning Sleeper Slam. Kong puts Gail in a Camel Clutch before slamming her face into the mat. Kong whips Gail into the corner and attempts another Awesome Splash but Gail escapes through the ropes only for Kong to lay her out again causing Gail to crash to the floor. Kong tosses Gail back in the ring and lays Gail out with a Forearm Smash. Kong chokes Gail with her boot and headbutts her into the corner. Kong hits a Scoop Slam and follows up with an Awesome Splash but Gail rolls out of the way and surprises Kong with an Octopus submission hold! Kong uses her strength to get out of it but Gail catches her with a rollup for a nearfall. Kong gets back up and nails Gail with a clothesline. Kong chokes Gail in the corner again but Gail fights out with a series of elbow and then a Tornado DDT off the top! Gail goes to the top but as The Dollhouse look like they are going to attack she attacks them first! Gail hits a Plancha off the top onto The Dollhouse on the floor! Gail hits a series of shoulder blocks, forearms, and clotheslines on Kong and then she counters a Kong clothesline into a Neckbreaker! 1…2…NO Jade distracts the referee. Rebel attacks Gail as the referee is distracted but The Beautiful People run out and attack The Dollhouse. Jade holds Gail as Kong goes for a Spinning Backfist, but Gail ducks and Kong stops herself from hitting Jade. Kong turns around into Eat Defeat and then Jade climbs up top but Gail tosses Jade off the top and onto Kong! Gail flips over Kong with a Jackknife as Hebner climbs back in the ring and gets the pin!

Winner & STILL TNA Knockouts Champion: Gail Kim via pinfall (Jackknife pin)

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Beer Money comes out and James Storm says that it has been five years since they have wrestled together as Beer Money on Impact and tonight it is going down! Roode asks the fans if they want to see them kick some ass tonight and they challenge Bram and EY to a match as a “Beer Money” chant starts up!

Eli Drake and Jessie Godderz come out instead of Bram & EY to the dismay of Beer Money and the fans. Eli says that this isn’t 2006 anymore and Beer Money’s time has past. He says that Eli Drake’s time is now and he thinks they should call Beer Money “Midlife Crisis” instead. Jessie says that they plan on breaking Beer Money tonight but James Storm says that they just wrote a check that heir ass can’t cash! Beer Money attack Jessie and Eli as this match is on!

Beer Money vs. Eli Drake & Jessie Godderz

Roode slams Drake into the guardrail on one side of the ring while Storm and Jessie fight on the other side. Storm slams Jessie into the guardrail and then tosses him into the ring. Storm connects with a series of rights followed by an Uppercut and then a Spinning Neckbreaker for a quick nearfall. Storm hits the ropes but Drake trips him and slams him into the steps before rolling him back into the ring. Jessie puts the boots to Storm and covers him for a nearfall. Drake tags into the match and the heels choke Storm in the ropes before putting the boots to him as well. Jessie tags back into the ring and stomps on Storm repeatedly before connecting with a Shortarm Clothesline. Jessie hits another Shortarm Clothesline but as he goes for a third one Storm kicks his arm away and hits a Russin Leg Sweep! Roode tags into the match and hits a series of clotheslines to Drake as he tags in as well. Roode hits a big backdrop on Drake and then hits a Running Knee to Jessie. Roode hits a T-Bone Suplex on Jessie and then whips Drake into an Enziguri from Storm! Roode and Storm hit a Hart Attack on Drake and then a Catapult/DDT on Jessie! They hit the Beer Money Double Suplex on Drake and then Jessie eats the DWI! 1…2…3!

Winners: Beer Money via pinfall (DWI)

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Backstage Reby Sky is bitching at Matt about something. They walk into Jeff Hardy’s locker room and his knee looks pretty messed up as they are talking to him. It literally looked like you could see how screwed up the ligament was through his skin. Matt and Reby beg him to go to the hospital and get his knee checked out rather than stay to watch the Main Event. Jeff agrees to go and wishes his brother luck.

Kurt Angle comes out with footage of his awesome match with Drew Galloway last week shown as he comes to the ring. He says that every time he comes to the ring it feels like the first time all over again. He says that he has been walking down a wrestling ramp for nearly 20 years and the reaction he gets from the fans makes all of the injuries worth it. He says that Drew Galloway took him to the limit last week and that is the type of match he wants on his Farewell Tour. He says the question now is who is next on this tour. Before Kurt can say anything else Bobby Lashley’s music interrupts him.

Lashley comes out and he says that he has more respect for Angle than he has for anyone else in the entire wrestling business. Lashley says that 14 years ago Angle found him at the Olympic Training Center and Angle tried to talk him into becoming a pro wrestler and it is because of Kurt that he pursued that career. He says that Kurt told him that one day they would have a match and he waited and waited because he knew that to truly be the man, you have to beat the man and Bobby’s eyes Kurt Angle is THE man. Lashley says that they finally had their match about a year ago and it was the single greatest moment in his wrestling career. He says that it was also the single worst day of his career because he lost that match. He says that Kurt took the title from him and he hasn’t been the same since that match. Lashley says that he has watched that match over and over again and it has driven him crazy. He says that there is only one solution to that, Kurt has to give him one more match! The fans chant “one more match” as well.

Angle says that Lashley is the most dominant wrestler he has ever faced and he doesn’t even know why he can beat him again, but that is the reason why he wants to wrestle him. Angle says he doesn’t back down to anyone so if Lashley wants that shot at him again he has it! Angle and Lashley stare each other down and then Lashley says he is going to beat Kurt’s ass.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Backstage Lashley says that he hates losing and now Angle finally gives him a chance to get his revenge. Suddenly some hot Spanish chick approaches Lashley and kisses him on the cheek. She says that Lashley’s pain is her pleasure.

“The Miracle” Mike Bennett w/Maria vs. Pepper Parks

This is both Parks and Bennett’s debut match on Impact but they both made their in-ring TNA debuts a couple of weeks ago at TNA’s “One Night Only: LIVE!” PPV. Parks lost to Trevor Lee and Bennett defeated Robbie E that night. Bennett and Parks lockup and Bennett catches Parks with an armdrag quickly. Bennett backs Parks into the corner and then slaps the piss out of him. Parks answers with a big boot and then a series of rights as Bennett retreats to the corner only to answer right back with a nasty Superkick! Bennett jumps on top of Parks and unloads a series of right hands. Bennett whips Parks into he corner and hits a Running Clothesline and then whips him into the opposite corner and another Running Clothesline followed by a Mafia Kick! Bennett hits a Vertical Suplex followed by a Scoop Slam. Bennett climbs up top and dives off with a Splash attempt but as Parks gets his boot up Bennett catches it only to eat the other foot. Bennett hits the ropes and runs right into a Knee Lift from Parks only for Bennett to come right back with a beautiful Spinebuster as Parks hits the ropes. Bennett hits a nasty right hand followed by the Divine Intervention for the pin!

Winner: Mike Bennett via pinfall (Divine Intervention)

Bennett says that what we all just witnessed was a real life miracle and it is okay if everyone needs a miracle because Pepper Parks sure as hell needed a miracle. Bennett says once again that he is building a “Kingdom of Miracles” in which everyone screams out “yes we do!”

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Backstage EC3 says this issue with Matt Hardy ends tonight and reminds us that he did not ask for this, Matt did and Matt cannot beat him. He says that there is honor in being a family man and then he says that he has his own family and points to the World Title. He says that he has sacrificed far more than Matt or anyone else can know. He says there is not an ounce of breath in his lungs that he will not give to keep that belt. EC3 says tonight Matt Hardy goes home, “you go home in this” as the camera pans back revealing EC3 and Tyrus sitting in an ambulance. Tyrus just leered at EC3 during that whole promo. “Behold a pale horse, and he who rode upon him, his name was Death. And hell followed with him,” EC3 says. That was fantastic.

Main Event
TNA World Heavyweight Championship
Title vs. Career – Last Man Standing Match
Matt Hardy vs. Ethan Carter III (c)

EC3 holds the belt up in Matt Hardy’s face and they both seem pumped up for this one. JB does boxing style intros here. Remember, if Hardy losses he must leave TNA and the only way to win is by knocking out your opponent for a ten count. Hardy attacks EC3 as the intros are still being made! EC3 takes Hardy down and lays into Hardy with rights and lefts. Hardy retreats to the floor but EC3 follows him and they lay into each other was some absolutely sickening chops! EC3 crotches Matthew on the guardrail and then continues to chop the hell out of him! EC3 slams Matt into the ring steps and Matt makes it back to his feet at the five count. EC3 Suplexes Matt on the ramp and then pulls out a table from under the ring! EC3 sets two tables up but Matt cuts him off and slams him into the ring post. Matt lays EC3 out on the table and then climbs to the top rope. EC3 knocks Matt off the top rope and they begin exchanging right hands with EC3 on the apron and Matt in the ring. EC3 attempts to Suplex Hardy through the tables at ringside but Matt blocks it and reverses it into a Suplex in the ring. Matt follows up with a series of Leg Drops and then goes to the floor to look for some more plunder I would assume.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Back from the break Matt slams a ladder into EC3’s head but EC3 still gets back to his feet at a six count. Matt slams EC3 into the turnbuckles and whips him into the ropes and connects with a clothesline and then a Side Effect! Matt goes back to the floor and pulls out yet another table! Matt sets the table up in the ring and sets the ladder up next to it. Matt goes for a Twist of Fate but EC3 counters it into a clothesline and then a Back Heel Trip. EC3 lays Hardy out on the table and then he climbs to the top of the ladder and dives off with a big Splash on Matt through the table! Matt gets back to his feet at nine so EC3 lifts him up to his shoulder for a TKO but Matt reverses it into a Twist of Fate! As EC3 gets back to his feet at seven Matt blatantly low blows EC3 causing a few boos to rain down on him. Reby Sky is now at ringside. EC3 manages to pull himself up on the apron and Matt screams at the referee before hitting a Twist of Fate off the apron and through the tables set up at ringside! Both men are down now and Matt gets back to his feet at seven while EC3 manages to get back up at nine. He immediately collapses back on the floor so Matt pounces on him and throws him into the ring. Matt pulls out some chairs and throws them in the ring and wraps the chair around EC3’s neck. Matt hits a Twist of Fate on EC3 with the chair wrapped around EC3’s neck! Still, EC3 manages to get back to his feet at nine despite blood spilling out of the mouth of EC3. Reby hands Matt a freaking hammer and goes to hit EC3 with it but EC3 ducks and low blows Matt followed by a One Percenter! Both men are down again. Tyrus walks down the ramp as both EC3 and Matt get back to their feet but instead of attacking Matt he hits a big Side Slam on EC3 and then helps Matt up to his feet. Still EC3 gets back to his feet before the ten count and screams at Tyrus to come at him! EC3 lays into Tyrus with rights and lefts but then he turns around and walks right into a belt shot from Hardy with the World Title! The fans are actively booing Matt now and EC3 cannot get back to his feet to save his title.

Winner & NEW TNA World Heavyweight Champion: Matt Hardy via KO

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Back from the break Matt is standing over EC3 alongside Reby and Tyrus as the fans chant “Hardy sucks” at him. Matt says that he beat the unbeatable EC3 and he beat him for himself. He says that he ended the streak for himself and he won that title for himself. Matt says when he came to TNA he came with the very best intentions to give back and to help the company and the young guys, but now he doesn’t listen to any of the fans because they are just gnats to him. He says that he is a self made multi-millionaire that everyone of the “nobody” fans dream about. He says he has a perfect family and two weeks ago his beautiful wife whispered in his ear and told him that it was finally time for him to stop giving and start taking from this business. He says that she was right because she is the only thing that matters in her life and the only voice of reason. He says that Tyrus made the right business decision to join him and it is now the “Era of Big Money Matt…the iconic Matt Hardy!” Matt says, “EC3… I won!” and then slams a chair down on EC3’s head Con-Chair-Toe style. Reby spits in EC3’s face as well.
