Update on Samoa Joe’s injury status

As reported on earlier this week, Samoa Joe was recently diagnosed with a torn tricep and broken fingers while training on June 2 in Boise, ID. Joe has stated on his official Twitter page that he plans to appear at the Slammiversary PPV on June 21 no matter what. It would appear TNA has pulled Joe off the road for the company’s remaining house show events. Whether he will get surgery or choose to rehab the injuries remains to be seen as surgery would put him out of action for around six months. This would be the first example of the issue with taping so much TV over the course of three days to air over a month on TV as Joe plays a pretty significant role on Impact in the coming weeks with members of the Main Event Mafia.
