A video package runs hyping Impact Wrestling coming to us for the first time in New York City. Lashley defends the TNA Championship against Jeff Hardy and tonight is the return of the six-sided ring.

Kurt Angle’s music hits and we see Angle up in the stands. “TNA fans you asked for it and here it is…the six-sided ring!” Angle turns and blue lights focus on the six-sided ring. He talks about the ring making TNA different and how the talent also does the same.

Taz’s music hits and he is also in the stands. He said it is great to be back in New York City. Taz is proud of Kurt Angle running this company because he is proud of one thing: wrestling. He said the fans know how important that word is to the fans. Taz talks about being part of the greatest wrestling revolution of all time. The crowd starts a loud “ECW” chant. Taz talks about turning the corner with that company and he said the TNA locker room is about to do the same. “We are going to do some different stuff here,” added Taz. “Beat me if you can…” the crowd finishes “SURVIVE IF I LET YOU.”

Bully Ray and Tommy Dreamer are out next. They get the crowd fired up inside the Manhattan Center. Bully Ray calls New York City the greatest wrestling city on the planet. “Tonight TNA and New York City is going to grab the wrestling world by the balls and rip’em off!” Ray talks about making a promise about putting Dixie Carter through a table. The crowd starts a “WE WANT TABLES” chant. Ray says they will get tables. Tommy Dreamer talks about having a moment of reflection from back in 1997 when talent from ECW first got national exposure in this same building. He thanks the fans for their support all these years. Dreamer says changes are being made in TNA and talent in the back are willing to go “balls to the wall.”

EC3’s music hits to cut off Dreamer. EC3 walks out with Rhino. EC3 promises Dixie Carter will never go through a table and will happen over his dead body. He said Ray couldn’t accomplish his goal at Slammiversary, Pennsylvania and that won’t happen in New York City. The fans boo and Rhino tells the crowd to respect a Carter. Loud “YOU SOLD OUT” chant starts up. EC3 talks about paying Rhino very, very well. The fans start a “YOU CAN’T WRESTLE” chant and EC3 disagrees. Dreamer says this isn’t a PG product and the one thing he wants to see change in professional wrestling is less talking and more action. Dreamer and Ray attack Rhino and EC3. They clear house dumping EC3 and Rhino over the top rope.

-Commercial Break-

Bully Ray and Tommy Dreamer vs. EC3 and Rhino

We are back and the tag team match is now in progress. Bully Ray chops EC3 in the corner and then follows with a dropkick to the head. The crowd calls for a second chop and Ray gives them what they want. Tag to Tommy Dreamer who gets in a chop of his own along with a quick snap suplex. Tag back to Ray who drops EC3 with a reverse neckbreaker. Quick tag to Dreamer who takes forearm shots to the back from EC3. Tag to Rhino who explodes on Dreamer in the corner with stomps. Rhino plants Dreamer with a scoop slam and tags in EC3 who misses an elbow. Tag to Ray. Double elbow shot to EC3 by both. Ray tosses Rhino in. Both Ray and Dreamer have Rhino and EC3 in the corner. Both drop 10 big punches. Rockstar Spud is now at ringside. Ray chases him down. In the ring, EC3 is chopping Dreamer in the corner. Tag to Rhino who tosses Dreamer to the corner. Rhino with a big spinebuster on Dreamer. Tag to EC3 who gets in a snap suplex on Dreamer. Dreamer with a boot and then drops EC3 face first into the second turnbuckle. Hot tag to Ray who clotheslines EC3 and follows with a big high back body drop. Ray with an elbow to Rhino who jumps in and then splashes both in teh corner. Rhino is tossed out by Ray. Ray drops an elbow over the top of EC3’s head and tags in Dreamer. Ray and Dreamer with a modified 3D and EC3 gets a shoulder up. Rhino takes out Dreamer and then tosses Ray into the guard railing outside. In the ring, Dreamer with a fireman’s carry. Dreamer tosses Spud inside. Dreamer grabs Spud, EC3 rolls up Dreamer and gets the pinfall.

Winners: EC3 and Rhino

Backstage, we see TNA Champion Lashley and Jeff Hardy arriving.

Backstage, Kurt Angle bumps into TNA X Division Champion Austin Aries. He wants to see how great he really is before Destination X. Aries talks about redefining this company and he looks forward to the challenge tonight.

-Commercial Break-

Backstage, James Storm confronts Sanada. He likes Sanada saying he is smart and disciplined. Storm smacks in and Sanada doesn’t fight back. He tells him he should look up to him and not The Great Muta.

TNA X Division Championship Gauntlet Match
Austin Aries vs. Eddie Edwards vs. Davey Richards vs. Sanada vs. Tigre Uno vs. Manik vs. Crazzy Steve vs. DJ Z

We start with Austin Aries and Eddie Edwards. We have over the top rope elimination rules until we get down to the final two entrants. Aries and Edwards exchange holds and Aries takes out Edwards with a quick dropkick to the face.

Manik is out next as time expires. Manik holds on to the ropes avoiding a shot from Aries. Edwards with a kick to the head of Manik up top. Aries with a huge dropkick on Edwards and eats a boot from Manik. Aries with his swinging elbow.

Davey Richards is out next as time expires. Richards catapults Aries into a headbutt from Edwards. Edwards comes off the top with a knee. The Wolves with shots to Manik. Edwards works over Manik who is almost over the top rope.

DJ Z is out next as time expires. DJ Z with a big sunset flip on Richards. Manik takes out Richards with a springboard shot. Manik with a boot to Z. Manik with a huricanrana on Z as both go over the top rope.

DJ Z and Manik are eliminated.

-Commercial Break-

We are back. Crazzy Steve and Tigre Uno are now in the match. Edwards with a shot to Steve in the corner. Aries is trying to toss Uno over the top rope and Uno flips back in. The time is now expiring for the next entrant.

Sanada is out next as the final entrant. Sanada takes out everyone with big head chops. Steve runs around and hits the ropes. He sprays silly string at Uno and tosses him over the top rope. Edwards with a kick to Steve and Richards follows with a kick of his own.

Crazzy Steve and Tigre Uno are eliminated.

The Wolves with a double team shot on Aries. Sanada with a huricanrana sending Edwards over the top rope. Sanada then tosses Richards over the top rope as well.

Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards are eliminated.

We are down to Austin Aries and Sanada. The match must end in a pinfall or submission. Sanada quickly tosses Aries over the top rope. They remind us that doesn’t matter now. Aries with a suicide dive to Sanada after he recovers and tosses Sanada out. Aries applies his Last Chancery submission. Sanada gets to the bottom rope to break it up. Sanada with big rights to Aries from the ring apron. Sanada with springboard chop to Aries. Sanada gets a close bridge pinfall on Aries. Sanada plants Aries with a scoop slam and points to a corner. Aries cuts him off. Sanada plants Aries near another corner, goes up top, misses a moonsault landing on his feet and Aries lands a big forearm. Another forearm by Aries. Aries with his huge dropkick and Brainbuster combo. Aries hooks the leg and retains the title.

Winner and still TNA X Division Champion: Austin Aries

Backstage, Bobby Roode said it feels like old times with Eric Young. They talk about being frustrated with the actions of MVP, Lashley and Kenny King.

Backstage, James Storm calls Sanada a loser and beats him up. He yells at Sanada to fight back. “Muta is a fraud. So are you!” yells Storm as he gets up and walks away.

We see a shot of Dixie Carter arriving in the building.

-Commercial Break-

Before the match, MVP and Kenny King complain about Kurt Angle being power hungry. MVP said he will take part in this next match under protest despite still being on crutches.

Bobby Roode and Eric Young vs. MVP and Kenny King

We start with Eric Young and Kenny King. Young takes out King with a big dropkick and tags in Bobby Roode. Roode with right hands and catches King with a quick elbow. King with a big kick to the top of Roode’s head. MVP wants the tag and as he starts to get in, Roode takes out King and MVP bails. MVP wants a time out. MVP gets back in and King tags himself in. Roode with a shot on King and tag to Young. Roode and Young with a double suplex on King. King drops Young throat first off the top rope as he leaps over. MVP gets the tag and drops a quick elbow favoring his leg. MVP lifts up and drops Young down on the mat, limps towards King and tags him in. King with a stomp off the second rope over Young. King with a springboard leg drop over Young. Young with a flying cross body off the top over King. Hot tag to Roode and tag to MVP. MVP wants one second. Roode attempts a shot and MVP drops down. King goes after Roode. Roode with clotheslines to King. Roode with a big spinebuster to King and then drops MVP down into a Crossface. Young jumps in and MVP pushes both Young and King out. MVP grabs his crutch and hits Roode over the back. The referee calls for the bell.

Winners via DQ: Bobby Roode and Eric Young

After the match, MVP starts to choke Roode with the crutch. Eric Young jumps in grabbing the crutch. MVP drops down. Kenny King grabs the other crutch and hits Young with it. MVP and King attack Roode and Young with the crutches.

Brittany vs. Madison Rayne

Madison Rayne jumps and tackles Brittany with some big shots early. Rayne with elbows and a boot to Brittany. Brittany is up top and pulls Rayne down in an armbar over the top rope. Rayne breaks free and catches Brittany with a cross body to the floor. Brittany counters Rayne giving her a back body drop over the ramp. Brittany with a kick to Rayne. Back in the ring, Brittany with a snap suplex into a float over getting a two count. Brittany with a side russian leg sweep on Rayne. Brittany with a quick clothesline and then tosses Rayne out of the ring. Rayne with a suplex to Brittany on the outside. Rayne with clotheslines and a dropkick to Brittany. Rayne with a big kick to the head of Brittany. Rayne with a package DDT on Brittany for the win.

Winner: Madison Rayne

Backstage, we see Lashley and Jeff Hardy heading to the ring.

Backstage, Dixie Carter says she is here because she owns this company. She compares Bully Ray to a poodle that is all bark and she is all bite.

-Commercial Break-

Backstage, Kurt Angle says next week Austin Aries will decide if he will turn in his title to get his shot at the TNA Championship at the Destination X special.

TNA World Heavyweight Championship
Lashley (c) vs. Jeff Hardy

Lashley drops Hardy early. Hardy comes back with a quick elbow. Lashley levels Hardy with a clothesline and then follows with a big suplex. Hardy catches Lashley with a boot, Lashley avoids an early Twist of Fate and Hardy with a leg scissors takedown. Hardy with a flying clothesline and dropkick to the chest sending Lashley to the floor. Hardy jumps up on steel steps at ringside and Lashley trips up Hardy. Hardy lands shoulder first over the steel steps.

-Commercial Break-

We return with Lashley dropping big forearms over Hardy against the ropes inside the ring. We see footage from the break of Lashley sending Hardy back first into the steel steps at ringside as well. Lashley splashes Hardy in the corner and gets him up in a torture rack. Hardy fights off, eats a kick from Lashley, ducks a clothesline and connects with a jumping clothesline of his own. Hardy with his double leg drop to the groin of Lashley and connects with a quick dropkick. Hardy with Whisper in the Wind in the corner on Lashley. Hardy with a Twist of Fate on Lashley. Hardy connects with the Swanton Bomb off the top turnbuckle and Lashley powers out after two. Lashley rolls out and Hardy drops his head off the steel ring steps three times. Hardy with another shot on Lashley face first into the steel steps. Hardy climbs up to the top turnbuckle, jumps for the Swanton Bomb, Lashley moves and Hardy lands back first over the steel steps! Nasty bump by Hardy. Lashley tosses Hardy back in the ring and backs up in the corner. Lashley charges in when Hardy gets on his feet. Lashley connects with a Spear. Lashley covers and gets the win.

Backstage, Kurt Angle says Lashley is the guy to go through here in TNA. He grabs Dixie Carter and she says to get his hands off of her. He asks where she is going. Carter says the ring. Angle warns her not to after what Bully Ray said tonight. Carter said she needs to talk to her people.

-Commercial Break-

Backstage, we see MVP and Kenny King celebrating with TNA World Heavyweight Champion Lashley. Kurt Angle walks in and books MVP against Bobby Roode in a Falls Count Anywhere match next week.

We go back inside the Manhattan Center where Rockstar Spud introduces TNA President Dixie Carter. Carter walks out with Rhino and EC3. Carter grabs a mic, “This…this is what all the fuss is about? You people? Like, I thought like you’s guy’s are the best wrestling fans in the world?” She appreciates how much they love her, but she doesn’t feel the same. Carter understands why they call New Yorkers angry people. She said she had to wear extra sparkles to add some extra class to this city. Carter said the crowd has no class and they also cheer for people with no class like Tommy Dreamer. She mocks Dreamer for crying. Carter runs down Bully Ray saying he isn’t a star. She calls him irrelevant. Carter thinks she should be called the Hardcore Star as she is responsible for Bully Ray going through a table multiple times. She promises Ray will continue to go through tables until he gives up.

Bully Ray’s music hits. Ray and Tommy Dreamer walk out with a table that says “DIXIE” on it. Ray and Dreamer slide in. Rhino and EC3 are tossed out. Rockstar Spud is blocking Carter in the corner. Ray levels Spud with a big boot. Dreamer sets up the table near the corner. Dreamer starts walking towards Carter as Ray stares her down. Dreamer grabs Dixie as Ray starts going up top. EC3 jumps in and gets in a cheap shot on Dreamer. EC3 pulls Dixie out and they put her in the crowd. Spud runs off with Dixie as Rhino protects her. Spud yells that he will never touch her.

Team 3D’s music hits and he walks out attacking EC3 putting him back in the ring. Ray scoop slams EC3 near the corner. Devon goes up top and drops the headbutt as Ray holds the legs of EC3. Ray leads a “GET THE TABLES” chant with the NYC crowd. Devon grabs a table from under the ring and slides it in. They set it up as EC3 is just recovering in the corner. Ray and Devon with a 3D on EC3 crashing him through the table. We see a shot of Dixie crying at what she just saw. Team 3D celebrates as the show comes to a close.
