The 8th annual “Destination X” event opens up with highlights of the history of the X-Division and a preview of what we will see tonight featuring two World Title Matches and the X-Division Title Tournament.

In the back Kurt Angle is shown warming up followed by Rockstar Spud, their match will open up Destination X.

EC3 comes out before Spud’s Title shot along with Tyrus and a pissed off EC3 says that he is the #1 Contender yet tonight there are two World Title matches without him. He says that he has worked tirelessly to become #1 Contender yet is never defended. He says this isn’t happening tonight because he has having a good old fashioned sit in strike. He sits down in a chair in the ring and says he refuses to leave until he gets his World Title shot. He dares anyone to come stop him and just then Angle’s music interrupts him.

Angle tells EC3 to shut his damn mouth and says that he isn’t canceling anything. He says the fans want to see wrestling not some whiny bitch complaining. EC3 says that Angle is lucky he doesn’t knock Angle’s dick in the dirt and end his career! Angle dares EC3 to try anything because he promises to snap EC3’s ankle in two! EC3 backs down and retreats up the ramp as Spud makes his entrance.

TNA World Heavyweight Championship
“Olympic Hero” Kurt Angle (c) vs. “The Ultimate Underdog” Rockstar Spud

This is our first of two World Title matches tonight, JB does the usual title boxing style introductions for this one. Spud and Angle lockup with Angle taking Spud down and putting him in a front facelock. Angle transitions into a waistlock and then picks Spud up and takes him down again. Angle puts Spud in another facelock and Spud quickly gets his feet to the ropes to break the hold. They lockup again and this time Angle catches Spud in a side headlock takeover and he holds onto the headlock on the mat. Spud fights to his feet and shoves Angle into the ropes only to get run over with a shoulder block. Angle charges at Spud but Spud catches Angle in a drop toehold. Spud climbs to the top and connects with a Missile Dropkick and then a gorgeous Spinning Headscissors that sends Angle to the floor. Spud dives off the apron but Angle catches him in midair and tosses him away with a Belly-to-Belly Overhead Suplex on the floor! Angle tosses Spud back in the ring and hits a Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker! Angle nails Spud with a European Uppercut and then follows up with a Snap Suplex. Angle floats over and gets the first nearfall of the match. Angle puts Spud in a chinlock but Spud again fights to his feet and this time breaks the hold with a Jawbreaker. Spud hits the ropes but Angle catches him with another Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker! Angle waits for Spud to get to his feet and then goes for the Olympic Slam but Spud counters with an armdrag followed by an Enziguri! Spud follows up with a series of strikes capped off with a big right hand that takes Angle down. Angle charges at Spud but he sidesteps the champ and sends Angle to the floor. Angle gets up on the apron but Spud dropkicks him back to the floor. Spud climbs up top and dives off with a Somersault Plancha onto Angle on the floor! I hate how Angle always takes Somersault Planchas, I don’t get why he feels to catch those dives like that. He’s done it ever since I first saw him face Rey Mysterio, and always did against AJ Styles. He ducks down and allows the wrestler diving to land damn near on his neck. He protects the guy diving because they land on his back area but damn it’s scary when you have a guy like Angle that has had so many neck issues. Just catch the dive like any other dive man! Both men roll back into the ring and Spud climbs to the top rope but Angle quickly leaps to the top and hits a Belly-to-Belly Superplex! 1…2…NO Spud kicks out! Angle goes for the Olympic Slam again but Angle blocks it and hits a dropkick to the knees! Spud hits a series of knees and forearms but Angle catches Spud in the Angle lock! Spud rolls through and goes for the Underdog, but Angle blocks it and goes for the Olympic Slam again. Spud escapes it and Angle charges at Spud, but Spud sidesteps him and Angle goes flying through the turnbuckles into the ring post. Spud follows up with the Underdog! 1…2…NO Angle kicks out! The fans get behind Spud as he goes to pick Angel up, but Angle grabs Spud’s ankle and trips him locking in the Angle Lock! Spud tries to fight it as much as possible but Angle drops down and great veins the leg! Spud finally taps!

Winner & STILL TNA World Heavyweight Champion: Kurt Angle via submission (Angle Lock)

Angle looks shocked at the fight that Spud put up and shakes his hand and raises his arm. Austin Aries walks out and holds up his briefcase and points at it as he smiles at Angle.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

The Dollhouse comes down to the ring with Taryn Terrell wearing a robe. Terrell says that she told everyone she has something special planned for Destination X, and the Dollhouse never disappoints her fans. Terrell says that they will find out who the toughest and sexiest Knockout of all is tonight and if Kong wants a shot at her tonight then she has to face Terrell in a Lingerie Pillow Fight. Marti Belle holds up some lingerie and Terrell says that if she doesn’t wear that then Kong doesn’t get a shot at “this” as she holds up the Knockouts Title.

A vignette hypes up the X-Division Title Tournament.

TNA X-Division Title Tournament
“World Warrior” Low-Ki vs. Manik vs. Crazzy Steve

Ki and Manik are both multiple time X-Division Champions while Steve has never held the title. Ki kicks both Manik and Steve but then Manik nails Ki with a leg kick. Manik attempts to whip Ki into the corner but Ki reverses it only for Manik to slide down on the mat and catch a charging Ki with a ki to the face. Steve then leaps onto Ki’s shoulders and bites him! Steve whips Manik into the ropes but Manik does his Spiderman impression hanging in the ropes. Steve then charges at Manik but Manik drops down and Steve almost goes flying through the ropes, but he catches himself similarly in the way Manik did only backwards. Manik dropkicks Steve in the back knocking him to the floor and then Manik sets up for a dive but Ki catches him with a huge kick in midair! Ki nails Steve with a European Uppercut and then tosses Manik back in the ring. Ki whips Manik into the ropes and attempts a clothesline but Manink ducks and then catches Ki in a Hanging Octapus! Manik transitions into a Crucifix pin for a nearfall. Manik grabs Steve and hits a Snapmare Takeover followed by a dropkick to the back. Manik swings at Steve but Steve ducks and then leaps to Manik’s shoulders, but Ki hits a Springboard Tidal Wave to Steve for a nearfall. Manik whips Ki into the corner and then charges into the boots of Ki. Ki attempts a Shining Wizard but Manik ducks and then Ki attempts a Back Heel Kick to Manik but again Manik ducks and Ki nails Steve! Manik hits the Detonation Kick on Ki but only gets a two count as Steve breaks up the pin attempt. Manik rakes the eyes of Ki with his boots and then climbs up top for the Frog Splash, but Steve shoves him off and climbs up instead. Steve dives off with a Cross Body but Ki sidesptes him and then Manik goes for the Tiger Buster, but Ki catches both of them with a crazy Running Dropkick! Ki hits the Warriors Way on Manik for the pin!

Winner: Low-Ki via pinfall (Warrior’s Way)

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

In the back Grado is shown warming up and he says he needs to lose a little weight so he can keep up with the X-Division guys. He is running in place and then goes to do a parkour jump over an equipment case, but fails miserably. Somewhere Johnny Mundo is shaking his head in disgust at that attempt.

Footage of the horrible angle last week with Storm and Mickie is shown. No one needs to see that embarrassing footage anymore. They make sure to let us know that Mickie is okay and didn’t die. According to James Storm the police legitimately came to his house last week which is humorous if true though.

TNA X-Division Title Tournament
Tigre Uno vs. “DJ Z” Zema Ion vs. Mandrews

Zema is the only former X-Division Champion in this one. This one certainly has some international flair to it as Tigre Uno is from Tijuana, Mexico while Mandrews is from the UK. Zema is of Pilipino heritage I believe though he grew up in America but he has worked all over the world including Japan and Mexico. Zema attacks Tigre at the bell and then Mandrews attempts a German Suplex on Z, but he blocks it and puts Mandrews in a side headlock. Tigre puts Zema in a headlock at the same time and then Mandrews shoves them both off but he eats a dropkick from Tigre. Zema rolls Tigre up for a nearfall and then tosses him into the turnbuckles. Zema whips Tigre into the ropes and then attempts a Wheelbarrow slam but Tigre counters with an armdrag. Tigre takes Zema down and then Zema leapfrogs him twice and connects with a dropkick. Mandrews connects with a shoulder block through the ropes on a charging Zema and then slingshots himself into a Wheelbarrow Bulldog attempt on Zema. Zema tosses Mandrews onto Tigre and Mandrews catches Tigre with a hurricanrana! Mandrews catches Zema with a Wheelbarrow Rollup for two and then he gets to his feet and attempts a Superkick to a sitting Zema, but Zema drops down to avoid it only to eat a Standing Moonsault from Mandrews for another nearfall! Mandrews attempts a  a big Roundhouse Kick on Zema but he ducks and hits an Atomic Drop followed by a crazy modified pop up dropkick for a nearfall of his own. Tigre dives off the top with a Double Missile Dropkick to both Zema & Mandrews! Zema retreats to the corner and Tigre nails him with a Sliding Dropkick! Tigre lifts Zema up to the top rope and then Mandrews charges at but Tigre lifts Mandrews up in the air as Zema dives off the top with a Spear on Mandrews in midair! 1…2…NO Tigre breaks it up! Tigre attempts to whip Zema into the corner but Zema reverses it and then charges at Tigre. Tigre sidesteps him and Zema crashes into the turnbuckles and then down to the mat. Tigre climbs up top and hits a Flying Leg Drop to the midsection of Zema for a nearfall before Mandrews breaks it up. Mandrews goes for a Supelx but Tigre blocks it and then shoves Mandrews into the ropes where Mandrews springboards into a Tornado DDT! Tigre rolls out to the floor and then Mandrews hits a Slingshot Hurricanrana on Tigre on the floor. Zema hits a Somersault Plancha over the top onto Mandrews & Tigre on the floor! Zema tosses Mandrews into the ring and then hits his Slingshot Tornado DDT! Zema climbs to the top but Mandrews shoves Zema to the floor and then climbs up top and hits the Sabertooth Splash for the pin! On the replay it looked like Tigre’s knee actually came down across the face of Mandrews, ouch.

Winner: Tigre Uno via pinfall (Sabertooth Splash)

After the match Jessie Godderz clotheslines the hell out of Zema and then tosses him into the ring. Jessie puts the boots to Zema and then Powerbombs him into the turnbuckles! Jessie Press Slams Zema over the top rope to the concrete like he did to Robbie E a few weeks ago.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

In the back Grado continues to “train” for his X-Division Match (it looks like he is wearing a garbage bag that says “Grado” on it) as Tigre Uno walks up. Grado tells Tigre that he is a really good wrestler and he wants Tigre to show him a thing or two. He asks Tigre what workouts he does to be in such good shape. Tigre obviously has no idea what the hell he is even saying and looks extremely confused. Grado walks away and Tigre says “what a jackass.”

The Dollhouse comes down to the ring and there is a bed set up in the ring. Terrell says that what “those X-Division boys do is exciting” but what she has on under her robe will make everyone’s blood pump in a whole new way. Terrell says that if Kong wants to play then she has to come out in her sexy lingerie. Terrell taunts Kong and then finally Kong’s music hits and she walks out definitely not wearing lingerie. Terrell screams at Kong about not wearing the lingerie and Marti Belle says that they picked Kong something out really pretty to wear so she needs to turn around like a nice little monster and put it on. Marti asks if she understands and if she is some big dummy. Kong pulls both Jade and Marti to the floora and beats the hell out of them all the way up the ramp.

Terrell says that no one gets to see her in her lingerie and then tells Christy to announce her the winner of the match since Kong refused. Brooke Tessmacher walks out and says that a Lingerie Pillow Fight is a disgrace to the Knockouts Division and is low even for Terrell. Brooke tells Terrell to stop all the BS and she says that Terrell promised to defend her title tonight and she also promised to show all the people her lingerie. Brooke says she has no problem fighting Terrell in any match, any time, any place. Terrell mocks Brooke and says that she didn’t challenge Brooke so she needs to turn around and leave before she humiliates Brooke like she did Gail and Kong. Brooke says that before she does that she has one more thing to say and then she decks Terrell!

Brooke rips off Terrell’s robe and Terrell runs up the ramp. Brooke says that just like her robe the next thing she is going to take from Terrell is the Knockouts Title.

In the back the Dirty Heels talk about Austin’s match tonight with Kurt. Roode says he is going to make sure what happened last time Aries tried to cash in doesn’t happen again. Roode says that they have The Wolves right where they want them but tonight Aries has to focus on Angle tonight. Roode tells Aries to remember that he gets the first shot when Aries wins and Aries agrees.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

In the back Grado weighs in saying he has finally made the weight for the X-Division. JB tries to explain to him that there is no weight limit as he pulls off his tights and gets on the scale. Finally JB says there is no weight limit. Grado says, “so you are telling me I’m not too fat for the X-Division?” JB responds by saying “technically not.”

TNA X-Division Title Tournament
Grado vs. Cruz vs. “King of the Night” Kenny King

King is the only former X-Division Champion in this one. Grado is a popular British wrestler in the UK and he appeared on TNA’s shows in the UK earlier this year. He was also a contestant formerly on British Boot Camp. Cruz has wrestled a few times in TNA and is a member of the Los Ben Dejos tag team. Grado offers King a handshake but gets a fist to the face instead. Cruz hits a Springbaord Armdrag on King followed by a Hurricanrana and then a Pop Up Dropkick. Grado shoves Cruz into a Spinning Heel Kick from King. King hits a Spinning Enziguri on Grado and then beats Grado down in the corner. Cruz dives off the top but King moves out of the way and hits a Spinning Gutbuster. King then slams Cruz into the corner and actually wedges him in between the turnbuckles and connects with a Flying Knee to Cruz as he hung in the corner. King gets a nearfall before Grado breaks it up. King lays Grado out and then puts him in a chinlock. Cruz hits the ropes but King saw him coming and destroys him with a Lariat! King chokes Grado with a knee and then whips him into the corner. King charges at Grado but he moves out of the way and then Cruz comes in and attempts a German Suplex but he can’t lift him up. Grado trips Cruz and attempts a Figure Four but Cruz kicks him off. Cruz goes for a Sliding Dropkick but Grado cartwheels over him and then he sidesteps Cruz again as he charges at him causing Cruz to crash and burn. King then lays Grado out with a Running Front Kick. King tosses Cruz to the floor but Cruz holds onto the ropes and then climbs up top and dives off with a Seated Senton. Cruz follows up with a Springboard Flying Cross Body and then a hurricanrana! Cruz hits a back kick to King and then goes for a Spinning DDT but King counters into the Royal Flush! Grado lays into King with a series of strikes but then gets destroyed by a right from King. King goes for the Royal Flush on Grado but he blocks it and hits a series of Dusty Rhodes elbows. Grado backdrops King over the top to the floor and then hits a Cannonball on Cruz in the corner for the pin!

Winner: Grado via pinfall (Cannonball)

In the back Bram screams that he hates Destination X and says that his destination right now is to head to the ring and make bloody history.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Bram says that the X-Division has a lot of history because it helped build TNA, and that Slammiversary is huge for TNA because it celebrates the history of TNA. He says that he hates history and the past which is exactly why he is calling out any past TNA star to face him right now. Bram says that the past, present, and future will be rewritten by him.

Bram vs. Crimson

We haven’t seen Crimson in quite awhile. Crimson tackles Bram and lays into him with right hands and then follows up with a Corner Clothesline and a Vertical Suplex! Bram goes for a DDT but Crimson counters into a T-Bone Suplex! Crimson locks Bram into the Rings of Saturn! I haven’t seen that move in awhile. Bram uses his legs to grab the ropes and break the hold. Crimson goes for the Rings again but this time Bram bites the hand of Crimson and hits the Brighter Side of Suffering for the pin!

Winner: Bram via pinfall (Brighter Side of Suffering)

In the back EC3 is still steaming about not getting his title shot. EC3 says that Angle dared him to throw the first punch but he says when he throws the first punch Angle won’t get up.

Main Event
TNA World Heavyweight Championship
“Olympic Hero” Kurt Angle (c) vs. “A-Double” Austin Aries

Austin Aries is the man that created “Option C” in the first place and is a former TNA World Champion. He won this title shot via winning Feast or Fired earlier this year. Angle and Aries have faced each other a few times in the past including a terrific Submission Match back in 2013. They haven’t faced each other as many times in the past as you would expect though so this still feels like a fresh matchup. Angle has already faced Rockstar Spud earlier tonight while Aries is fresh. They lockup and stalemate in the corner. A second lockup results in Angle getting Aries in a Waistlock and taking Aries down. Aries counters into a Front Facelock but Angle fights to his feet and reverses into a hammerlock. Angle catches Aries with a Side Headlock takeover but Aries counters with a headscissors. They exchange the same sequences but reversed this time and Aries manages to escape Kurt’s headscissors with a headstand.
